pinoydrumfest sounds good...simple...

why not make it more of a masterclass thing? may featured drummer show...tapos end of the year we can have a modern drummer type festival and christmas party with a raffle of drum stuff, and donation of old stuff to charity in one night. masaya na tayo tapos may tinutulungan pa

For me, semi-annually lang dapat.... May and January, or March and October, para sabay sa bakasyon at Oktoberfest (sponsor idea!). Baka madilute ang kaastigan kapag masyado frequent... di na siya "special". Pag less frequent, each one will be big, so mas exciting puntahan. Baka maubusan din tayo ng special guest performers if it's quarterly. And, malamang mas madali kumuha ng sponsors or exhibitors if the event is "special".

Now that is a good point. Dapat nga siguro Semi annually lang dapat. Inigo has a very good point +1 for you my brother.. Dapat MAY para summer event and December para diretso Xmas party na or new year... Bakasyon lahat para lahat makapunta then makakahanap pa tayo ng magandang Sponsors... Diba? What do you think... and TAMA din yun sinabi ni Inigo na baka maubusan tayo ng guest drummer or performer... Napakagandang idea... at makapagready lahat.... nakikita ko palang maayos itong kalalabasan.... MAs maganda ito dapat pagmeetingan ng mga kinauukulan.... Yahooooo....

tingin ko maximum natin ihold ito is quarterly and minimum na annually. napansin ko may mga chapters tayo. may  north drummers, south drummers, east drummers, im not sure sa west, na nag-eyeball on a regular basis. i try to host the south drummers eyeball every last sunday of the month. siguro maganda kada area may monthly then quartly, bi annually or annually magsasama lahat for the drum fest.

for the name i vote pinoy drum festival.

nga pala , baka may tiga forum na may video coverage na business.maganda may video tyo , parang modern drummer fest na ang dating.

So far parang Pinoy DrumFest and pinakamaraming votes. Okey din ang mga suggestions niyo regarding the frequency of the event. Personally mas pabor ako sa quarterly kasi habol ko talaga yung actual interaction natin sa isat-isa. Siguro kung every EB maplano natin ng mabuti ang makaisip tayo ng bagong activities para hindi maging redundant, everyone would look forward to the EB at hindi mawawalan ng dating. Baka pwede rin gawing 'extra-special' yung december EB compared to the March, June & September (kung susundin nga yung quarterly sked). Okey din yung suggestions about donating to charitable institutions pag-december. Suggest lang ng suggest!

Ayos din yung plano ni Zach na parang drum show! Sana makahanap tayo ng malaki-laking space next time para madaming entries.

Tama ka Vinci, baka may makapag-video coverage sa atin next time. Shoot din sana ako ng video nung Capone's kaso tinopak video cam ko. Dapat inauction ko narin yon or swap with iced tea! haha.

Explore na natin yung pangalan ng event. Ayos din yung mga walang konek sa Pinoydrums. Siguro pagisipan natin yung pangalan til mid-July?

Trip niyo bang gumawa tayo ng album ng lahat ng drumkits natin sa Multiply site? Kanya-kanyang padala ng pix tapos yung pinaka-caption yung pangalan natin. I think we can do that here (or meron na ba?) but I hear medyo overloaded na ang Philmusic.
