para sakin ok na yung df7 hehe dame mo na choice kasi 7 dist in 1 ped tipid diba hehe. pero mas trip ko yung seymour duncan power grid yun kasi gamit ko ngaun fat tone and long sustain nakukuha ko sa power grid kaya swak sakin hehe meron din ako df7 and boston hm200 nakatago lang sila pang back up. un nga lang mahirap talaga masatisfy pagmeron kang tunog na gusto gayahin o makuha hehe. baka nga kumuha naman ako ng rocktron zombie or rocktron rampage or ung rocktron metal planet hehe yung krank DM maganda din, tignan mo ako di parin satisfy haha

Nope, Behringer version GDI21 is actually NOT the same in terms of sound lalo na sa TWEED setting. Yes, they have the same circuit diagram. The only difference is yung semiconductor na ginamit between the two. Behringer uses common IC lang. Whoever owns it, napapansin nyo ba na may hum o may ingay lalo na sa high gain o hot wired setting?..

try to listen sa ginawa kung GT-2 with corresponding IC na ginamit din ng Tech21..

i don't think there's such a thing as an all around distortion pedal. puwera lang yung footswitch ng magandang amp. hehehe.

I agree with Al, The best thing to do is get as many as you want and as many as you can and doon mo lang malalaman na wala palang "all-around" pero GAS meron.

i think if there was an all around distortion pedal, it'll go with the quote "jack of all trades, master of none" kaya i'd personally prefer dirt pedals that has its own distinct sound to it
id get a classic rock distortion pedal for classic rock
a metal pedal for metal
a blues pedal for blues
and so on

Get a nice amp with dirt channel.. then boost it with od if you want.. use also volume control of your guitar to change gain settings.
Pero kung ayaw mo nito.. bili k nalang cruch box or ocd ver 3 or 4...

you can cover most songs with just this one bec. of the tonal variety it brings. hence, the "all around distortion" for me.

If you were to buy..what would you choose? Kung wala dito sa 3..eh di..please give your own opinions..

for me, these are definitely not versatile pedals. if you really intend to have different distortion effects from a single pedal, i suggest you to buy a simulator pedal. im not sure with the df7 coz i am not an experienced user of this pedal but judging from the features of this pedal, i guess this is a good candidate.
