i was surprised that a staff at jbmusic cubao tried to sell a guy there this amp saying it is 35 watts. the staff need training.

yup the amp looks very classy indeed, and the Marshall name in front is really eye-catching. the weight and size are nice: I feel I can lug it up and down the stairs without much difficulty compared to a 75w Peavey Vypyr...

its a class A 5 watt tube amp as already mentioned. really good looks :)

hes right but in terms of consumption.

oh okay! but they were comparing an MG50 50 watts amp vs. a Marshall Class 5 na 35 watts amp. I mean in that sense ang data nung bumibili. kaya na shock yung buyer nung sinabi ko na 5 watts lang siya pero detubo

pedal friendly ba itong class 5 sirs? balak ko kasing gamitin yung dirt pedals ko para dito. bumigay na ata yung cub 10 ko eh...  :cry:

if you mean tubescreamers then yeah I guess...

if you prefer to use a distortion pedal try looking for a cleaner sounding amp in my opinion...

i think nasa 16k something sya ngayon. i tried it around a month ago. lacks headroom indeed. not advisable if you're looking for good clean tone--it breaks up early. saka bulky for a 5watter hehe..
