"Lenny" still gives me chills and "Riviera Paradise" says a lot about the man.

   Thanks SRV! :-)

I remember hearing Stevie Ray for the first time...

I was in my dad's car, I think I was in grade 1 back then he just popped in SRV's tape and immediately I dug it and I aked him who's that and he said it's Stevie Ray Vaughan then he said too bad he died just a few month's back...

Back then I didnt even know how to play the guitar but still it made such an impact on me. I felt his greatness even back then...

It's just now im able to browse this thread. I know you guys had to get a lot of heart listening to this guy. Well, i had a lot of pain to endure. You would no longer hear the song in the radio. What i do, I play them song out LOUD! For them young ones outside them streets to hear.

His tone is soooo tight it hurts!

BTW, I haven't seen a video of him using a slide. Do you guys know a particular song he played with a guitar slide? I'd like to know. Maraming matsalams repapips!

if clapton has the "woman tone" and EVH has the brown sound"..

Si SRV ang "tunog-mama"! (mama as in big man)

I'll be stranded and caught in the crossfire if he didn't get the house rockin' when it was floodin' down in texas..  :-D

I always looked up to this man.

"give me back my wig" title na nagSSLLIIDDEE siya. 12 bar shuffle song and i think yung 3rd string is tuning up one half-step.
