i actually saw bamboo on a show recently. it was my first time to see them live and performing a complete set. aside from playing their own hits, they played some rivermaya songs (ulan, elesi, hinahanap-hanap kita). medyo nagulat nga ako, and i asked a friend "pwde ba yon?" coz i think those songs are still in rivermaya's repertoire. ewan ko, sabagay, bamboo's vocalist and bassist used to be half of rivermaya, di ba?

i think it'll be interesting to watch the old rivermaya, the old lineup, including perf, if possible, to do a reunion show/jam. as for them getting back together, naiisip ko, what of the remainder of bamboo and the new rivermaya? i-di-discard na lang ba sila?

i answered 'no' in this poll. for some reason, bamboo and rivermaya are better the way they are now.

nga pala... anyone here knows the details of bamboo's departure from rivermaya a couple of years ago? nagkagalit-galit ba sila?

Teka mukhang mgulo nga ah!!!! Pero gs2 ko lng mkita tlga ung lumang rivermaya kahit once lng, gawa sila ng final album (parang ultraelectromagneticjam), parang farewell tribute sa lumang rivermaya...

Kasi kung tutuusin ang bagong rivermaya umabot na sa ibang bansa, at sadyang malakas din. Ang bamboo bago pero ang lakas ng dating.

i didn't vote because i think bamboo is an overrated singer and rivermaya should just stop trying to be coldplay. by the way, how many albums have rivermaya released? i've only heard about 4 or 5 and i think their best one is tuloy ang ligaya! i enjoyed a few songs off that one.

perf was never meant for rivermaya,he was too glam for maya's taste...i think atomic bomb ang pinakamagandang album with bamboo and rico together...kasi experimental na sya,plus maraming magagaling na hits...beatlesque pa...parang white album mixed with rubbersoul pinoy style...na mejo new wave...hehe...labo!

but i like both bands now...mas naeexpress nila sarili nila with their own bands now...mas jazzy style ni bamboo e kaya bagay ang pagkafunk ni nathan at jazzblues licking ni ira...c rico,britpop talaga na new wave...parang cla ang "the dawn" ngayon..
