mas ok ipod touch kaysa sa iPhone kasi nakakatakot mag-iPhone 3G 50k yata siya (tuition fee ko na din yun) nakakatakot din dalhin at mahirap ilabas kasi nakakatakot baka bigla nalang hablutin sayo.

agree din ako dito pero nung na-try ko ang iPod touch nagbago ang pananaw ko. iPod touch lang ang pinaka nagustuhan kong product sa lahat kahit yung macbook air medyo weird para sakin kasi parang overpriced IMO.

wow! enjoyin mo muna yung warranty nyan.. so di mo pa majajail-break yan (I beleive it voids the warranty eh) so go browse the iTunes Store nalang for free games and apps.. (maraming free dun) but the rest will have a hefty price (mahal yung mga magagandang games like "Super Monkey Ball")

Dude gaano na ba katagal yang iPod Video mo? in my case kasi eh 1 year lagpas na ang iPod Video 80GB ko.. pero wag ka it still plays 24 hours of non-stop music.. at pag video naman eh nakaka dalawang movie pa ako..

well hindi ko lang naman ugali ang magcharge daily.. I make sure na pula na ang battery indicator bago ko i-charge ulit.. its ok naman kasi kung icharge mo parati (like when you want it full charge bago ka umalis kahit na kalahati palang ang natitira) since its nickel-cadmium..

pero I beleive what added to my iPod's battery life is the regular "full charge cycle" ko.. I also do the same for my iPhone..

remember na apple product's battery packs ain't user replaceable.. so make sure you make most out of it

Oh.. im not sure about it since I dont own an iPod Touch, what I know is some 3rd party apps "wont" (not sure din ok) work on newer firmware versions (like 2.1.1) kasi nga Apple wants to make sure na sa iTunes store ka lang kukuha ng apps na merong "go signal" nila (the apple certification signature.. its embedded within the firmware kaya you cant install 3rd party apps unless you "jailbreak" it)

now I dont know if the new Touch firmware is "jailbreakable" coz I know other Touch users who dont upgrade their firmware just to make sure they will able to install 3rd party apps (not really sure.. I guess we need Panterica to shed light unto this also since he owns a 1st gen Touch)

ako kasi I maintain my iPhone's 1.1.4 na firmware.. no bugs kasi eh.. unlike yung iba na nag upgrade to higher versions eh shared some hanging and bug issues.. (at mas maraming compatible na games and apps sa v1.1.4 for iPhone hehehe) for me the v1.1.4 iphone firmware eh stable.. (like the Windows XP SP2)

di ko alam sa Touch kung ano ang oks na firmware as of date..

may nabasa ako na replacementa batteries kaso mahal ata at wala pa sa pinas.dyahe.pang byahe kasi sana to e.

yung pinsan ko nagpapalit ng battery ng iPod Video.. ang gawin mo eh bumili ka muna ng iPod Battery pack, kung di mo naman alam kung saan bibili text mo pinsan ko (taga Sta Ana Manila sya) 09212669896, nagpapalit ng battery ng iPod yun..

Pero wag mo asahan na matagal pa rin ang battery life ng ipapalit mo.. most of the battery packs being sold in the gray market eh "reconditioned" so kung makakabili ka sa legitimized source eh mas ok..

Dont try to open the iPod yourself dahil mga mga wirings yan na nakakabit sa both casing at board.. baka di mo makita.. mapipigtal yun..

I have a very old iPod (2nd gen) na binuksan ko.. ayun di ko malaman kung saan yung naputol.. di ko rin matandaan kung saan ibinabalik yung wires na tinanggal ko
