nice bro. we have a wall-e set also but the lepin clone. the lego price is a bit steep for my blood. hahaha.
btw, is your kit the original lego one? i would like to know if the neck joint of yours is weak, coz ours is. the head is a bit heavy for the neck joint to hold steady unless you would let wall-e stare the the ceiling always. lol.

Nice shots. Na miss ko tuloy 50mm. Okay naman yung focusing ring nya...smooth? Take it out some more on good light and static subjects and see what it can do.
Congrats on the purchase.  Yes Baguio is pretty cool. Early dawn/late afternoon even better fogs roll in and lights go play along sloping hills.

Thanks. Medyo hooked nga ako ngayon sa vintage primes. Not that i am walking away from the new glasses and the zooms pero the way these old ones work and how the sooc photos came out are very pleasing to me. Just bumped the blacks a bit on lightroom yun na.

Isa pang masarap sa Baguio ay kahit anong takbo ang gawin ko, di ako pinapawisan hehe. Hingal nga lang dahil sa altitude.

May topak tong copy ko ng helios. The aperture gets stuck sometimes at kailangan ko buksan sa likod to do some tweaking. Minsan babalik yung topak kaya may baon akong screw driver para buksan. The focus ring also gets gritty when youre nearing the infinity marker. Minsan sa ibang distance point jumpy sya bigla yung parang biglang mag loose tapos tatalon yung focusing. I suspect dried grease or too much dust has accumulated. Ibang iba yung feeling sa super takumar na una kong nahawakan. For 1.5k pirchase, di na ko magrereklamo sa binilan ko. I plan to take it back to hidalgo and have the old guys look at it, maybe watch as they dismantle it para ako na lang sa maintenance next time, nakarating na ko 2nd lens element sa likod eh, nilinis ko na nga. Ayoko lang full dismantling sa ngayon baka maloko pa.

I love it for being heavy btw. Solid built e.

May list na din akong binubuo for those vintage primes na gusto ko kolektahin hehe.

Meron ako nyan 35mm f2 na yongnuo. Ok naman. Ive read a lot of reviews on the net. Mixed din reactions nila e. Pero ang totoo talaga, you have to test the unit before you buy. Baka maka chamba ka ng bad copy.

Binili ko as the wife is struggling with the 50mm pag gamit nya cam sa events nila sa office. It is OK at f2, just needs a little sharpening and color fringing removal in post processing. I am sticking it at f2.8 dahil yun ang sweet spot nya para sakin. Center and sides sharpness ok na dun. The focusing ring is smooth pag naka manual ka. Maigisi din travel nya, mga half lang yata to get the whole range. Problema sobrang ingay ng AF motor, mas maingay pa sa Plasma motor ng Tamiya hahaha! Di ko pansin yun kasi nasa open space ako nung tinetest ko pero sa bahay ayun dun ko narinig.

Try mo nga mag 18-55 zoom pens pre. The 18mm is wide enough to capture a group kahit ilan hakbang lang layo mo.

Lol kaya yan. Tyaga lang. Kung may budget samyang. O kaya yung mga Yi cams wide angle na yun.

Kung gusto mo upgrade yan 18-50 mo, try mo tamron o sigma 18-55 f2.8 ok na ok.

Meron akong tropa sa sobrang lawak ng idea nya sa photography. nakagawa sya ng sariling rig pang macro gamit kit lens. dahil nga mahal ang lens ng macro photography. 

hahalungkatin ko mga kuha nya.

so ito na nga ung shots ng tropa ko na bumuo ng DIY rig for macro shots. Di sya sobrang macro kasi nga kitlens + macro filter.

depende sa lighting. if may harsh lights na makaka apekto sa WB ko, inadjust ko nlng on-cam settings. pag event naman sa post ko nalang inaayos para naka batch at pantay lahat

Ganun din ako though never ko pa pinakialaman yung wb adjustment sa cam lalo na pag naka raw ako kasi kampante akong mahahabol ko sa post by adjusting the sliders.

May shoot kasi next month. Daylight naman kaso natatakot ako baka hindi ko makuha na consistent yung colors lalo na skin tone dahil syempre paiba iba din lighting conditions(direct sun, shade, etc.)
