where are they supposed to be?

$50,000 guitar was laying face down on a counter top which was already piled up with miscellaneous items. Guitars on this price range are normally hanged head level high with a lock on the neck.

Last time i was there the EJ strats  where hanged on shoulder level. They look like indonesian strats on the floor rack stands. As i was randomly pulling one out to test the pedal was surprised it was an EJ strat in red and another one in gold finish by its side.

The place is a mess i tell you.

I was at HK recently, visited 3 branches: Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai.

Will post pics soon. Causeway was the first place I visited on the 2nd day of my trip, scored a Blackstar LT Distortion there.

Was gunning for a Blackstar LT Dual, wandered into the main branch at Tsim Sha Tsui and demoed it, but was spirited away as we had an appointment to keep. 

Wanted to hang around and chat with the folks. I did chat with fellow kababayan who works there and has lived in HK for over 20 years. He identified me as being Pinoy, and generously offered me a store discount if I decide to purchase a guitar. It was a "Proud to be Pinoy" moment

Went to Tom Lee TST yesterday afternoon. Almost bought a 62 AVRI HR strat if it weren't for the wife. Look for Kookie - pinoy siya, mabait sobra.

Kookie is new....the rest are just plain zombies acting like Gods of the house.
They never smile or try to break that ice.

They never called me back for an update on that Boss TE-2 that i wanted to purchase.
I had to call most of the shops around HK.

No TE-2 in HK.

nakakamiss pumunta sa tom lee! sobrang stoke ako nung unang pumunta ako, 4 tom lee stores agad pinuntahan ko. wan chai, causeway bay, yung isa sa loob ng mall nakalimutan ko na rin yung isa haha!

sobrang sarap bumili dyan pag chinese new year, sale lahat! maghanda ka nga lang ng napakaraming pera dahil sobrang dami mong mabibili haha! sarap lang!

Si Kookie rin nag assist sa kin. Nagrecommend ng Reunion Blues na gig bag, instead of a hardcase. Buti may Pinoy dun.

For best buyer experience look for Kookie para madali bumili at magtanong. He is a very nice person to talk to plus Pilipino!
