ive got the digitech grunge a few weeks ago and i can say its pretty insane!!.. if you want to copy the grunge tone mix it with chorus stomp and there you go.. haha i love the tone of this one, lots of sustain.....

Yung digitech grunge maganda pang metal.. Kuhang-kuha yung deftones na distortion sound altough fuzz ang gamit nung gitarista nag deftones dun.

I have a Digitech GNX3000:

Sound: Very clear even on high-gain distortions. Me latency issue lang talaga paglipat mo ng patch.

Reliability: Thick Metal naman ung body kaya siguradong matibay.

Summary: Di hamak na masmaganda sa zoom.

I also have a Digitech Distortion Factory, and it also amazed me mga tsong...

e para sakin isa to sa pinaka maganda na OD na mabili sa murang halaga
very warm yung tunog, at yung kahol nya ay swabeng swabe w/ the high and low control knob, swak ito kung medyo vintage sound ang trip mo,.....
e kaso wala na sa akin tong pedel na to, kasi nag palit na ako ng Twin Tube Classic heheh....
RP300
hindi ko ganu nagustuhan eh, dahil yung mababa na nga gain, e matapang parin.... ok yung mga modulation nito at yung expression pedal

I bought a GNX4 about 5 years ago. I used it for live purposes. Sounds good. The plastic stomp thingys gave out na due to wear and tear and probably because of those baggage handlers/wankers at the airport.haha. As of now its semi-retired na. I'm using it for studio purposes nowadays. It really served me well.

mas nagustuhan ko yung mixer out ng Hot Head distortion ko. kahit na naka chain ito sa iba pang pedals. parang mas sweeter (personal opinion ko) yun tone.

guiat>tuner>HotHead(mixer out)>bad Monkey(amp out)>boston DD>volume>amp

may "cabinet simulation" kasi yung Mixer out... typically parang "mas mahina yung output" nun kung isasaksak mo yun sa ampli.. pero magkaibang quality (balanced and unbalanced kumbaga).

i love the bad monkey. it gives tube amp warmth to my solidstate fender. imho, the best cheap pedal for straight-ahead jazzers who don't own a tube amp.

Same here guys. I also love boosting it with my DIY ts808. Giving a good jazzy tone.

The mixer out is just another output that gives a a different sound. thus letting the user have a another variety of sound.

hindi ko nasubukan yang clean boost sa malaking amp, nung sa 15watt kasi it somehow sounded nasal and dry to me. sana sinubukan ko muna before i parted with it.
