I just bought a used but in ultra mint condition Digitech Bad Monkey from a fellow forumite 2 months ago. This Digitech Bad Monkey will be a classic 10 years from now! A/B'ed with TS-9 and Digitech has an edge having a Bass knob and more gain but TS-9 still IMHO is still much more transparent. For $50 how can you go wrong with this pedal?  :-D Very sturdy and you can get ultra heavy gain when matching this box with ANY distortion pedal. I just don't like the battery compartment, I still need a pen to poke the pins that hold the batt cover.

You should be able to pry open the case using your guitar cable. That's what it is designed for.

Anyway ... I love my DF-7 especially the DOD 250 and MT2 settings which I think sound better than the originals. I don't use the DS-1, TS, Rat and BIg Muff settings. The DS-1 emu is definitely meatier than the Boss DS-1 MIJ  and it has more gain but I generally don't like the DS-1 anyway so.... The original Tube Screamer sounds so much better imho. No comments on the Rat and Big Muff settings. Didn't have the chance to A/B them.

When chained to the GDI 21, it sounds really good even with a 40W transistor combo. The mixer out works great when plugged straight into the PA. I also use that output when recording to my computer.

Melody over speed anytime!

Digitech Multi-Voice CHORUS

I just got a new Digitech X-series Digital Multi-Voice Chorus Stompbox for 4950 Php. It is really lush and shimmery. You not only get a 1-16 voice knob, you can also achieve a classic rotary effect by turning up the speed and depth knob. Really nice! Now I think I found the strongest chorus stompbox around. It has 2 outputs for real stereo operation. I think this is a lot better than the CH-1 Boss Super Chorus because it has a Voice knob!

amen to that panyero. i'm using it for my acoustic right now and so far i like what i'm hearing. the 'voice' knob made it somewhat a 'true' chorus at that. nice nice nice.  :-D
strum away!

Patay...minimal lang experience ko sa pedal na yan eh, try mo muna timplahin sa amp, i-flat mo lahat then try tweaking and see kung mawawala yung pagkangongo.
