Thanks bro!! Noted ito!! Mukhang go ako sa patch mode. Wala bang "sinok" ang RP1000 paglumilipat ka ng patches?

based on my rp500, meron bro pero d masyado halata...yan nman yta isa sa mga cons ng multi's..d ko lng alam sa line6 HD kasi bagong labas un..

Yung Line6 HD may sinok kapag nakasaksak sa PC thru USB. pero kapag live wala.

Medyo OT na ata to, pero matagal ko nang gustong tanungin sa may first-hand experience eh. Sir Xelly, in terms of amp modelling, ano mas trip niyo, yung HD500 o yung RP1000? I've been wanting to buy a multi, and I'm torn between the RP500 and the HD300. I'm not much into the flexibility of having a lot of effects at once, mas habol ko ang simpleng effects routing na maganda ang tone. Thanks in advance! (Kung sa tingin niyo hindi dapat sa thread na ito ang topic na 'to, PM niyo na lang siguro ako. Hehe.)

Yeah, merong "sinok". It's no more than a few milliseconds but it's enough to mess up with my rhythm so I ended up using the pedal board mode. The trade off was I can no longer get the same sweet OD + amp gain sounds that I was getting using patch mode.

Combining the RP500/1000's pedal and amp distortions in pedal board mode kills the possibility of switching to clean sounds. Even if I turn the pedal distortion off, I'm still left with the one coming from the amp/cab model.

I tried running the pedal distortions through clean amp/cab models but I couldn't get any usable sounds so I ended up getting a separate distortion pedal (a Shredhead).

Now, I'm running the Shreadhead through the RP500's Roland JC-120 amp and Fane 4 x 12 cab models and it sounds divine; turning the dirt off gives me nice warm clean tones.

Of course, YMMV. But these are some things that you might want to explore and maybe build on later on.

Pag naka-distortion, compressor na ang ginagamit ko pag volume boost lang ang kailangan. For more gain, I use the RP500's pedal distortion. Susubukan ko pa kung kaya kong pindutin yung dalawang switch nang sabay.

Pag clean, I just switch to my middle pickup, which is louder (dahil lang hindi ko maibaba). But I think you can also use the expression pedal to control the overall volume. 'Di ko pa lang nasusubukan.

You can also use some light chorus. Just set all its parameters as clean as you want and make sure that its volume is a bit higher than your base signal.

So far analogish yung tunog nito!!! Medyo hindi talaga siya ginawa for recording pero ayus pa rin magpatunog. Kung sa live gig ito gagamitin yun ang exciting!!!

mahal ko na ang BadMonkey. The OD3 used to be my main dirt, pero naging gain boost siya after ko i-cascade yung dalawa. Main dirt ko na ang BM kasi may bass and treble EQ. MURA PA BRAND NEW! Masira man to, I'd definitely get another one. At shempre yung OD3 rin

normal lng b mgka "background hiss" or something like that pg nka high gain..im using a digitech rp500..tpos gamit ko ung amp/cabinet is peavey 5150 and recto 4x12 nka 80 gain ung peavey tapos add ako 808 with about 30 gain..sakto n sana ung tunog kaso may background hissing sound pag nagplay ako..nka ON nman ung noise gate ko pero it doesn't seem to kill the little hissing sound..annoying sya lalo n pag nag palm mute ka tapos ipa ring mo ung last palm note..

any suggestions?

babaan mo pa gain ng 5150 mo. setting ng gain ko 60-70 lang kapag boost pa ng pedal (TS808 is my fave, max level, gain is at 10-15).
