Hey guys,

I've been reading a lot here on internet about the Digitech Bad Monkey... I've read a lot of great reviews/praises of it... there's also the haters side and the neutral side or let's just call it "BM pedal is a decent Od" side...

anyway, I got interested because I think I need a second OD pedal to have another gain stage when playing... here's my rig..

Tele/Strat
Danelectro Transparent OD (Version1)
Boss DD-7
Fender Frontman 65R

The Dano TOD is a great OD pedal.. it's versatile and great.. but I think I need another one, for boost or to be a new main OD pedal and make the Dano TOD a boost instead...

As for youtube clips/reviews/demos... I think I like the tone... some say it's a decent copy of the TS, some say it falls short.. some say it sucks tones, some say it doesnt...

I play church music by the way, (Hillsongs, etc..) but when I play/practice at home, it's blues/blues rock.. and most of the time I dont use pedals to play, just plugged in straight...

I would just like to know how you like the pedal, and if you bought one, do you still HAVE it or sold it for another "better" OD pedal? I know it's been discussed a lot, but I just want to know if the Digitech BM is a mainstay on your board and an essential part of your tone... I really like this pedal but I've yet to try it... maybe this weekend... but I want to ask you guys first..

currently using the RP100A.  Pero yung mga effects na lang nya ginagamit ko like Chorus, Reverb etc.  hindi ko ginagamit distortion nya dahil may Metal Muff naman ako

Panalo ang rp355 may looper na may stompbox mode pa isama mo pa yung lexicon reverbs, audioDNA2 ang gamit like sa mga hardwire pedals!!!

Is anybody here using an IPB10? It crashes my Ipad (Ipad2) even with the new nexus software. I like it coz I get the tones I like when combined with a DEC but I don't think I can use it live. I even removed the games from my Ipad but it still crashes.

grabe sa gain bro tapos dahil dun sa mid freq knob, andaming sounds na pedeng palabasin. ang settings ko ngayon 9:00 treble, 10:00 mid feq and mids, todo bass, 3:00 gain at naka 12 lahat sa amp.

I have an EX-7. It's a really good all-around thing to have. I'm not fond of using a wah pedal, but I do need one occasionally. The EX-7 is full of effects I'd love to have but don't really need that often, so it made a lot of sense for me to buy it instead of dedicated wah, volume and whammy pedals.

I'd only get a Whammy 4 if I intended to make full use of the whammy functions not found in the EX-7 (which isn't the case). Plus, there's the Whammy DT to think about now.

hello sirs.

I hope to get your opinion on what pedals to buy.  I have owned a hardwire metal distortion for a few years until it was "flooded" during the ondoy typhoon...  I had it opened and cleaned and it is functioning again (though I'm not sure if it performs the same)....  being the OC that I am, I thought about replacing it with the same unit but while I was looking around shops I happened to see the digitech RP-500 which caught my interest. 

Now, I have 2 options: 

-retain or buy a new hardwire tl-2 metal distortion and perhaps maybe buy a chorus or reverb
-buy the rp-500 and consider it a one-stop solution.  I may retain the tl-2 for some high gain stuff though....   

Btw, if it might help in your suggestions, I use an ibanez MIJ RG series with a vox valvetronix amp and plan to do some Dream theater or Metallica stuff  (not saying I can though, just plan to  )
