i like grunge for metal, add ka lang ng eq after the pedal to add tonality.
ok ang hot head, you can get a Lamb of God type of dist just with it.
bad monkey... i'm not much of an overdrive guy but i really like the way it gives a clean smooth dirt. hehe.

i have a digitech hot rod too. its ok.. kinda digital, but i still like the way it gives a flat dist. hehe.

the only downside is that I always have a humm sound on the grunge and hot rod when turned on. the psu by the way is already regulated and i use humbuckers. any ideas how to eliminate this..??

mangay nalang siguro yung pedal so noisegate nalang na maganda ang pangsolve mo sa noise...

sir i think sa Audio Studio sa Megamall meron nyan; or sa Audiophile cubao. nakita ko lang recently.

BTW, last year I purchased a DIGITECH THE WEAPON from a forumite here. (complete lahat ng items with box... na-order nya daw dati kay BossingBoss)
for me, panalo 'tong pedal na 'to!!!

and nakalagay pa dun sa box: "limited artist series pedal"... so it means rare pala ito....?

magandang noise gate daw 'yung MXR Smart Gate.
for cheaper alternatives, the Zoom G2.1u works wonders.

I had a Metal Master before, me mahinang hiss (as if nasa beach ka, hehe)
and yun, naka-cascade sa G2.1u, no distortions, tas naka-on lang ang noise gate niya. panalo!

gumagamit siya ng "Production Modelling" daw
(like other Artist Series pedals)

nabili ko siya ng 6K.

ANALTECH = digitech na analog. (baho ata ah?) hehehe

yup it is analog, the bad monkey is a keeper! its direct out is really useful recording direct, tried & tested! No need for a DI box.

Just got an EX-7, ilang araw na akong puyat. Hanep sa tonal possibilities for a single expression pedal. Also have a Cry Baby 535Q and the EX-7 comes pretty close! Dapat lang you should be patient in adjusting parameters and RTFM! The Leslie 147 Rotary is a trip!
