zendrive- dumble tone (jazz/blues)
Tube driver- nice well balanced high gain lead tone (Hard Rock to 80s metal)
geek screamer - tube screamer that adds mid hump (jazz/blues)
Tim - very transparent...doesn't add mids (jazz/blues)
ethos- dumble tone but higher gain than zendrive (Blues/Jazz)
-without boost....really really smooth and natural OD very very Carlton
ethos clean/Tim/GeekScreamer- hard dirty texas blues

How many pedals you have to turn on to get a good metal sound? Just a question if maganda ang kalalabasan ng tone.

class act Phil! Thats a very well rounded OD board, ang linis pa. All bases covered!

I suspect that the tube driver stacked into the zendrive should be good.

Ever considered adding a fuzz in the arsenal, like a lovepedal 200lbs of tone? Or the mxr fuzz with the buffer switch? just for the extra textural bliss...

the tube driver can suffice....if you are talking about 80s metal tone.  I don't really do chug chug metal.

the geekmacdaddy is dumb proof.  You can play with all the settings and still it sounds like a tube screamer. You don't need 5 minutes to toy around with the settings to get good tones. It sounds friggin fantabulous with my strat and even with hbs. I was looking for an od pedal before I got the TIM that can give me both light heavy round texas blues tone.(without changing pickups) The TIM sounds amazing with both HBs and SCs BUT just doesn't have that mid hump that an ordinary TS clone has. I asked around which TS clone is one of the best and even Perf said geekmacdaddy. So I got it 50% the price of a brand new one.....got a really good deal.

I've heard a lot of things about the BBB pedal too. I bet in any settings...your tone sounds Marshally.

BTW...I also got a brand new Hardwire RV-7.....that reverb pedal sounds freakin' amazing.....far better than Verbzilla.

...when's our next jam? hehehehe

(btw, how the hell did you manage to get 50% off that pedal? hook me up! haha)

found it sa Ebay...free shipping...taga Glendale...the seller said it was a demo pedal. I just transferred my stuff back to my room so I can do some recording...will do some clips soon.

Will ask Mel again to hang out in one weekend to just play and talk.

nope...no noise. I use the ethos, tim , and geekmacdaddy...and it sounds like the night.

Is it because my pickups are noiseless?
I play HBs? I don't really play over the top  high gain settings.... if I want that high gain tone, the tube driver can do the job for me....just one pedal.
