i got my soloist beginning 2008, i got it from dragonfly's ebay store for $29 back then, and every pedal was only like $29 - $35 now its more than that, i got my twinhead i think $18 shipped its used but still looks new

sound is more important anyway

one thing i found with the SEDL is i just got some clones of the OCD and MI Tube zone and when i kick in the delay pedal, it brightens their sound, which i like in someway

Nasubukan ko yung Twin Head at Soloist Distortion sa The Music Source Ali Mall.

Soloist - Parang modified DS-1
Twin Head - DA BOMB evil I would definitely love to have one of these. Ganda ng tunog. Dalawa yung distortion niya - classic at crunch (correct me if i'm mistaken) Nagustuhan ko yung tone pag napihit na sa kaliwa. Warm-sounding British dirt with the OOMPH.

just to give you an idea:

APW-3 = Clapton to Slash to Hammett
APW-5 = it's good for sharp-sounding wah sounds, but in my opinion, it's better for the bass
APW-7 = gives that whammy dabbled sound (parang ring-modulator nga din at some settings e), reminiscent of Jorel Corpus' "Daliri" solo. (that "whistle" thing can be turned on/off though)

I suggest you try them so you can decide which one works for you. The APW-3 could be a good choice though, considering the versatility and price.

Boogie Romero of Kjwan has an APW-3. Saw him play at the recent Pulp Summer Slam 9 with one, alongside his trusty Korg AX30G. (I was lucky for the backstage pass, pizza not included nga lang
