i saw these pedals first at music source in ali mall last week. There was a display of artec on one corner and i asked the clerk if i could try one. I tried the compressor, the metal disto boosted by the overdrive - the sound was decent.

Any reviews about the compressor?

in my opinion, medyo malakas siya mag-"squeeze", pero ok naman siya at minimal settings when combined with a dirt box.

i only have the 2 crunchbox variants one from shun li and one from kalikot and yes i tried the real one as well, the crunch has this saturated RRRR when you turn the gain up, pretty noticeable when using an amp sim/solidstate while the twinhead is more clearer,

so which one is phatter? personally i think the twinhead because of the built in two band eq/tone control,

which one will i likely play more in a gig, probably the twinhead, its consistent(vs the soloist, id probably go with the soloist), doesnt too much gain as the soloist but it has its uses for me,

but i do have both and the twinhead is more cheaper and it works the dirt is musical not harsh all settings have its uses and blends well with what i do

also i keep my crunchbox and OD808 clones as pre gain/boost/ + saturation for the artec soloist and twinhead...

medyo malikot lang yung tuner indicators but it does the job naman. Pero I guess tama yung tip ni sir Bryan (if i'm not mistaken, nasa malayong pages na ng thread yung post nya e.  ), maganda ilagay mo siya sa chain na as close to the guitar as possible.

The EQ is 7-band. ayos naman yung range.

necron i responded to your thread yesterday  , yes i do recommend changing the pups i havent played a boston Ds-100 before but the gain i get from my artec soloist is already enough and perfect for what i do, if you want more gain try the Crazy Metal pedal from artec,
