Welcome to Pinoydrums forum sir carleywarley! :-D

Sir ituring mong parang asawa yung kit mo. Garantisadong hahaba ang buhay nyan. Punas every after use is a big thing already. No need to mount or dismount Cymbals and Hardwares all the time.

As much as possible sana may Cymbal Polisher ka rin para malinis.

All in all punas lang talaga ang katapat nyan :-D

Happy New Year and Happy Drumming sir!

Soft, Clean, Dry Cloth lang, without Alcohol :-D
I use 4 different rugs.
Pick a day, once a month dun ka mag general cleaning, as in buong set.
Kung masipag ka naman ser maglinis once a week is good enough :-)

I was asked to restore a whole set of 60-series HW from a Pearl Target series kit and a Fernando boom stand. Again, another success story using oxalic. Thanks to our fellow drummer/forummer 'fouljan' and to his mother who shared and suggested this idea to us.

The wonders of oxalic...  :-D

Shinning shimmering splendid...

Goodbye kalawang...

cymbal cleaner pwde ba sa hardware?

I don't thinki so, magkaiba kasi material na ginamit sa hardware at sa cymbals, and the cymbal cleaner is formulated based on the nedd to clean B20s, B8,... alloys.

Uhm, i don't know if this is the right place to ask this question. but here it goes. Recently i bought a cymbal set from my friend. some awesome sounding Meinls. When I looked under the ride cymbal, there's this *crack/scratch* thing. I don't know if it's a scratch or a crack kasi it didn't cut the cymbal naman; i mean, hindi visible ung *crack/scratch* sa top nung ride. it's like about a centimeter long. here are the pictures. hmmm what do you think?

This is under the ride:

clean it after using to avoid dust from accumulating on the moving parts and always remember to oil up the moving parts to maintain smooth usage. :-)

Need help guys.  My one year old Gretsch Cat Maple kit developed rusty screws inside the drums/shell, those that hold up the lugs.  Did not play with the set for 3 mos.

Other hardware is fine.  It was so rusty that the rust dust bounce around in the drum and collect either on the reso skin or, in the case of the base drum, on the shell.  To make it worse, when I tried unscrewing the screw, the philips head could not get leverage.  Had to use clamps.

So its past the mainenance stage.  Would you know where I could buy the same screws?

Thanks!
