Since the day I got the Chicken Picks, the wear and tear is sooooo minimal from the day i started using it with a six string or a seven string guitar. Unlike regular picks normally i'd have a hardtime because the picks are already rounded or have an edge where it tends to bite on the strings. With the Chicken picks...NONE!!! I tried playing with regular picks but i cringed every time now because i have to put more effort in picking unlike the Chicken Pick, less strain and it's easier to be articulate in playing.
I did the math, lets say a regular pick cost almost 30-40 pesos a pick, say some people will use at 3 picks a month (wear and tear; losing them, or lending the picks and they never come back because you are too drunk to remember. So in a month that is 90-120 a month. For 12 months that would be 1080-1440 a year on picks alone. For Chicken Picks $14.95 for 2 picks (Free shipping) x 50 pesos would come out 747.50. That's good for a year. It's expensive but because of this, you learn discipline with taking care of your pick just like your pedals and your guitars. You then just don't leave it anywhere like regular picks.

Despite it's thickness of 2.2, I'm used to 2.0 sized regular picks, but this one is so comfortable to play, literally less fatigue on your picking hand. The pick's beveled edge actually forces you to be articulate in your playing but you get used to it instantly, it is a very dynamic pick too. It doesn't give out that chirpy sound like other picks. Don't take my work for it, I'm just lucky to give the picks a shot and Eppo (inventor of Chicken Picks) is very accommodating, i told him what i needed and he suggested the size picks for me.
