Yung green ng dunlop tortex. Di ko alam yung sukat non kasi nagfade na yung sa akin.

Pang 0.60 tortex talaga ako, tinry ko yung 2 colors na mas thick, pero hindi talaga haha.

.73 gauge dunlop picks! ... be it Tortex or Ultex, as long as they are the same size/shape. i can't seem to use anything else. i can slightly go with a 1.0, but .73 is where its at.

i like the attack of the tortex ... a big part of my playing is hitting the strings so hard, the pick slightly bends against the strings. i like the overtones i can get out with that especially with 16 notes

Dunlop Tortex, the stiffest one they have. Enables me to control my picking better.

Do any of you guys use SimCard / credit Card makeshift guitar picks ?

I seriously find these better sounding in Rhythm than my Dunlops

I did that way way... back. I just shaped them with a pair of scissors with one Dunlop pick as a pattern. I did that to any credit card that was not being used. And I did'nt mind if I lost one or several, I just made some more.

Pero nakakatamad na mag gupit gupit nowadays so i just buy, kinse lng naman isa.

I did but when I started to get more serious I went back to production picks

jazz III or the jumbo jazz III. jumbo just makes it easier to grip especially I have big fingers

Right now i'm using the Dunlop John Petrucci pick. It's really ideal for fast alternate picking,..My main complain is that it's slippery when you're hand sweats. Then i go back to tortex 1

Dunlop Max Grip Jazz III (Black Stiffo) for electrics and Dunlop Match Pik Nylon 1.0mm for acoustic because they just feel great

My choice of pick since 2007. Dunlop Jazz III Nylon(black and red), Ultex, and Ultex 2.0

I've been experimenting lately with my top favorite picks and my verdict is, the Ultex(yellowish translucent) wins for me. It has the best grip IMO because it has slightly powdery feel and sweat is not accumulating fast from the pick. Tone wise, I like what I get from its brightness, its like making your strings 2 weeks younger

I bought a V-Pick Tradition from a friend and I am absolutely loving it. It improves my playing considerably and just feels great. I get quite a bit more volume and midrange too, which are always welcome.
