dati JAZZ III XL series kaso madulas (pawisin kasi ), tapos nag try ako ng IBANEZ RUBBER GRIP Heavy (ambilis maubos nung mga rubber dots kaya palit ulet), ngayon IBANEZ SAND GRIP Heavy, swak na swak sa pawising kamay, kaso ambilis niya mapudpod.
Ah - I use a black, white, red or any other color of pick when I use one.Actually I rarely use a pick, I prefer to use my fingers.Be well and God Bless,Doc
Take care of those nails then Doc, i also do fingerstyle cause i like playing some chord melody pieces, had stopped at the moment though since i gave my acoustic guitar to my niece and still haven't found a replacement for it.
Yep - when doin it fingerstyle, one has to be careful with the nails. I saw Jeff Beck and the Stones in concert and had a front row seat years ago - and I was able to notice that both Jeff Beck and Keith Richards, basically didn't have any fingernails on their picking hands. Jeff Beck says he never uses a pick and Keith Richards uses one only rarely. Now that's interesting, especially with the case of Jeff Beck and his playing style. It would be very difficult to play those type of blues music with plain fingerstyle approach, i didn't know that, thanks for the info Doc.But I like chicken pickin and fingerstyle, because it helps me out with playing lead since I'm not a shredder.I like chicken pickin' too,i wonder if you've heard Zakk Wylde's Farm Fiddlin' on the guitarworld compilation album Guitars That Ruled The World. I started digging country/bluegrass music about 4years ago when a friend requested for me to do some Alan Jackson cover with him in one of his wedding set, that get me started, now i'm listening to Chet Atkins collection CD and i also have this DVD from Danny Gatton and 4 of his albums, i'm slowly catching up with it somehow though i wish i have the luxury of time to really sit down and learn how to really play in such style.
JB has Eric Johnson Dunlop plectrums, the same size as Jazz IIIs but a bit thinner. Almost the same as Jazz IIIs but I seem to prefer it. Seems faster. Very nice. They come 6 in a pack in red color. Very affordable. FYI.FWIW
These pranks are very insensitive and mean-spirited.
anyone tried the thin metal pick? i cant remember the brand name though, worst thing ever. Its a String killer.....and i dont even shred.
i have one but i never use it hehe collection series lang
I saw some guys using it as pendant on their necklace combined with small skulls..
