mga sir sino may g7.1ut sa inyo? anung settings niyo dun sa dotted 8 note delay? thanks po!

If you will set the time of your delay into 30 ms it will be possible to have this delay if there is a tap tempo you need a metronome or a tempo na pwedeng mong sabayan..try to back read you will see how it can be,but first try to set your delay time in 30ms then full level of effects (if it has)..hope this helps..Godbless

ehem... excuse me po! its better to give than to manakawan... lm :D

I believe you dont need 2 delays to achieve this mode, but in some other songs of hillsongs, they are using 2 delay,ex.is hossana..Godbles s in your activities.enjoy

sa zoom users, under normal delay settings eh set mo yung delay time sa around 32-33 for Time Has Come.
Repeats nasa 2 1/2

around 65 for Hosanna and Fire Fall Down,

Yan yung dalawang settings ko sa G2, just in case na biglang magloko yung delay pedal ko.
God Bless!

try set your time in 30-33 milliseconds..then set your volume effects level into high gain.then thats it lagyan mo n alang ng od o any modulation to define the delay :-)

here's some simple math for calculating dotted eighths for delays.

if you know the bpm of your song, divide it by 0.75. the resulting bpm is a dotted 8th note.
e.g. 100bpm main = 133.333bpm dotted 8th

if you know the ms value of your song, multiply it by 0.75. the resulting ms value is a dotted 8th note.
e.g. 600ms main = 450ms dotted 8th

the example above is the same tempo (100bpm = 600ms quarter-note)
this is especially helpful for those who can dial in the values exactly (yung mga naka-nova dyan).

ANOTHER TIP using dd20:in this pedal it has his own setting ,.8 note(using black tempo square knob)then if you have a tap tempo (though meron naman sya kaso matigas,i use Fs5U)yu can tap it while drums are playing or any meter, then yuo will achive what you want in using delay such as u2 effects,in galloping again you will need two delays in your chain - my dd20 i set it in quarter note, tap it while listening to the music or singing it ,then setting he other delay into dotted 8 note, sa dd20 after ng quarter note pag pinindot mo sya tempo papunta .8 note makikita mo yung value number ng .8 yun na yung pwede mong gamitin na time sa isa pang delay...magulo ba?heheh pero ok ito sarap ng ala galloping  delay eh hehehe..

oooh yun pala ang tawag dun.
I've been a long fan of that technique/guitar playing, since narinig ko ang Joshua Tree album ng U2. :)
Na-inspire din akong sumulat ng ilang songs with that delay effect.

As for effects, nagagawa ko naman siya sa G2.1u, pati sa 606 ko dati.
around 30 bpm ata settings nung delay. Depends sa tempo ng kanta :)

Since I use analog delays... i have to set it up manually...what i usually do is play a triplet groove without playing the second note on the triplet and have the delay play that second missing count. then i start to dial in the delay time until i get that even gallop feel again by just playing  the 1st and the last note of the triplet. of course with analog delays you'll have to imagine the correct song tempo

watch this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcH0Pau591A

ako, i'm using dd-20.. set it straight to dotted 8th mode and use a tap tempo.. got my e.volume for about 2:00 then feedback.. basta mga 2-3 reapeats.. delay time doesn't matter kasi i use tap tempo and continually tap it para laging in-sync yung timing..

if you want to experiment a little.. try using 2 delays.. dotted 8th + quarter note... ingat lang sa gamit kasi it gets muddy..pero cool new idea in galloping effects!
you don't know my rock and roll..
