Yeah.. Quoted to me one time by a fellow guitarist (a shredder) while i was doin some blues licks of my own. Then i asked him saan ba galing ang modern rock music? diba sa blues.. Then i showed him some shred licks and sabi ko sa kanya, "Mas maganda pag versatile ka diba."

Yung 1 classmate ko tinitingnan sa itsura ang guitar, example nakakita siya ng strat(kahit Fender) sasabihin niya "ay panget yan, maganda epiphone" 

at si Ely Buendia lang ang magaling para sa kanya (CLOSED minded kung CLOSED minded)

Great tone= "for electric" 1.guitar,2.string type, 3. amps in use. 4. right pick angle and attack.
                      "for acoustic classical/steel" 1.guitar,2.  angle of finger attack against the string, 3. shape of finger nails.

actually ako mas comportable ako sa mababa na strap, pero pag complikado ang riff, kailangan taasan, di ko kaya mga komplikado na riff pag masyado mababa. per kung yung tugtugan eh mejo easy easy lang ang pag strum, ayus lang pero pag heavy / speed guitar riffing na ang usapan, kailangan erpat-rock muna ang stance. haha

sa totoo lang po sir dati mababa ako mag-strap kaso nung napapansin ko pag nagso-solo pumu-pwesto sa baba ng fretboard yung thumb ko pag ina-abot ko yung higher notes. ang liit po kasi ng kamay ko eh, kaya sacrifice the looks para maging comfortable ang playing, gamit ko RJ Bluesbreaker Les Paul Standard. iniisip ko nga po kung guguhitan ko ng marker yung strap ko just to know my right strap height. hehe.

kapag rock or death metal (teka, since when did music become deadly?, anyway) kapag maingay ang genre,,,,, mesa-demonyo daw?!?!  ,,, creepy ,,, grabe judgemental ng tao this days

8. Investing too much on pedals when they should have invested in a good amp

10. Showband musicians are inferior compared to ones who only plays originals
11. A clone of a popular pedal will not sound good as the original
12. The best guitar pedals were made in the 60s - 80s.
