I was looking at Paul Gilbert's wedding pics in the another thread and I remembered my own wedding...  I sang "Grow Old With You" (yung sa move na Wedding Singer) and "Need Your Love So Bad" (Fleetwood Mac's blues ballad).  I used my MIA 52ri Tele at the time.... Of course, nothing but the best tone for my new bride

i've done many weddings na where i usually play guitar and sing, occasionally. in weddings, usually i'd have a male and/or female singer with me. on acoustic, shempre.

but in my wedding (which, i think, would be many years from now), i was thinking of making the reception a big jam. hehehehe. kaya nga sana mapang-asawa ko eh at least marunong kumanta para masaya. she'd do vocals, i'd do bass and my old bandmates on the drums and other guitars.

sarap mangarap. ehhehe. kaso.. well, hirap muna. i still have 4 years of law skul to overcome.. starting this june.

alwyn - actually ganyan din naisip ko, since i have a lot of musician friends, i'll make my wedding a musical one. jamming talaga buong reception, hehe. tapos lahat ng food pica-pica lang, hehe. then after that, sisingilin ko yung mga tao ng fee, hehe.

ako... instead of playing the "here comes the bride" i played my own composition for my wife. she requested it that way. i can't help but tears flow from my eyes when i sang it. medyo na-stutter pa ako kasi my emotions caught me with tears of joy. im using an ibanez AW40ECE while my younger bro is playing rhythm using an ibby 7012.

its so heart warming when you sing to you're beloved wife.

ako sa wedding ng friend ko, i sang, for her bridal march 2 songs by sting, fields of gold and fragile. i thought the idea was cool. well, the wedding was cool in itself. it was a beach wedding, so we were in white polo shirts, khaki slacks and flip-flops. ayos nga eh, hehe. and eto pa, their wedding cake is made of gonuts donuts, hehe. basta stacks sha of the amazing glaze variety, tapos designed para magmukha shang cake, hehe.
