Which is better? TS9 reissue or YJM preamp booster

I'm in a fix wether to get a ts9 reissue or yjm.  I tried both na pero lito pa rin ako.  I'm gona use it through my laney tube amp or my mesa v-twin.  Help me...

I've tried both too on a fairly recent occasion IMO, they differ in application as far as my taste is concerned. The YJM I think is best suited for driving up a tube amp. I tried it as an od and found it cold although the grain of the od is very good. But my taste really leans towards the ts9's characteristics, warm and creamy

TS9 pare.. thick overdrive + good tube amp = THE tone!

Why not go cheap (lol) TS7. More versatile (IMHO) than a TS9 coz it's got a TS9 setting AND a "hot" setting, which you can use for a relatively clean boost.

Ingat nga lang. Maingay ang hot setting. But methinks it will hit two birds with  one stone.

Yung TS-7 ko di naman ganun kaingay yung hot setting.

I've tried both, and I realized na magkaiba sila and mahirap i-compare. I tired both a vintage TS-9 and YJM on my tube amp. the TS-9 will ofcourse give you everything that you'll expect from a ts-9. the YJM wont give you much OD kapag clean yung amp mo. It's a pre-amp OD. kapag yung YJM ay kinabit mo sa overdriven channel ng isang amp, sobrang ganda ng tunog; or better yet kabit mo after a ts9 or a bd2 or even a ds1. I've tried all these and i think effective ang YJM kapag overdriven na yung amp. It adds color to your OD.

Nire-research ko pa. Ala ako makitang schematic ng TS7 e puro TS-9 saka TS5, TS 10, TS 808 ang natutumbok ko.

Yung TS-7 ko di naman ganun kaingay yung hot setting.

Oki din naman tong sa kin, parang hum nga ng gitara ang nakukuha nya e. Pero syempre, baka me remedyo. Pero kung dahil lang sa gain to, e ala...ang solusyon e patahimikin ang gitara at kable.

BTW, praktis namin last night, I chained the modded TS7 to my Zoom 505. Hahahehehehe !!! PANALO ! Lalo na kung me naka-set na na overdrive or distortion sa zoom...talagang over the top !
