"Ley Paul" as in Leyter Polsfuss?
"Lester William Polsfuss, known as Les Paul (June 9, 1915 – August 13, 2009) was an American innovator, inventor, musician and songwriter."
I don't see french anywhere.
A very long time ago, I was on the top floor of the UP Vanguard building waiting for my martial arts teacher to arrive. Mga 1995 or 1996 eto and i was just a 15-16 yr old high school student (the rest of them were undergrads and masteral students)
I was talking to my martial arts classmates, 2 of them in fact, and we were talking about guitars. and i kept on referring to the LP as "LESS" not as "LEH." They even "corrected" me kasi french daw. I was pretty sure everybody there in the Dojo, heard our discussions.
I said "No". I told them about Les Paul, being an American, his full name is blah blah...you know the whole 9 yards...
to cut the story short, some one rushed towards me as he said "P(*&!!!! uupakan ko na to."
Good thing, the most senior member grabbed him (bear hug) and said "Pare bata pa yan. Kinse pa lang ata yan, papatulan mo pa?"
