"ae" pertaining to the symbol of the letter combination, i just dont know how to type that symbol.

just refer to "ae" as it is used in the first syllable of the word - 'advil'... or the word - 'bat'...  :wink:

anyway, I still hear a lot of people say "gitarist", tinanggal lang yung "A" para maging english.

here's another one for you...

Timbre

most peeps pronounce it like this /'tim-ber/

but it should be /'tam-ber/  first syllable should be pronounced the way you'd pronounce 'bat' or the first syllable of the word 'Advil'  :-D
