Help with AX30G
« on: May 02, 2006, 07:31:19 AM »
Hello,

I know this thread has long been buried to the nether regions but I still can't deny the fact that I'm relly hooked with this gear, But I cant seem to make it sound good in terms of high gain and distorted voicings. PLease help if you have suggestions on how to tame this monster?

yo elmo.

ako ok lang naman timpla ko sa ax30g. pre tiyagaan lang talaga. tweak, tweak tapos pakinggan mo ang ginagawa ng each parameter. ako sa sobrang kate-tweak eh i was able to come up with a sort of eric johnson sounding distortion, hehe. actually yun talaga kinopya ko, hehe. basta pre paglaruan mo lang, tapos maganda sha pakinggan pag loud! teka ano ba amp na gamit mo?

Amp ko Park na 35 watter, Marshall sound talaga.....ok sya for fat sounds. Ganda ng clean sound. Minsan pare puntahan kita sa haus mo...check natin what you can suggest that will better the overall sound of this machine.

I run my guitar thru Ax30g and then the Zoom 606 saka lang diretso sa amp...I dont use the effects on 606 except for the EQ and the amp modeller, para lng maging smooth ung tunog nya at hindi masyado dry.

I need more suggestions guys..salamat kay Kulas and kawayan strat for the initial tips...
