put more mid if you want a metallica / megadeth and other thrash of that era sound

metallica more gain

megadeth less gain even more mid and lows

try this chain pare...

booster/overdrive pedal -> main highgain distrotion pedal -> eq. or amp/cab simulator pedal -> amp

daming pedal pwedeng gamitin sa chain na ganito...
for booster you can use TS9, SD1, MXR MICROAMP etc.. kahit huwag kanang mag booster kung naka active yung pickups mo...
for your main highgain pedal, well the guys here have almost said it all...
you can use an amp simulator kapag pangit yung amp na ipapagamit sayo sa bar...

ikaw na bahala magtimpla sa mga settings ng pedal mo kase depende naman sa taste mo yun e...
good luck sa pagexplore ng tone mo pare...

GRIND
EVEN DRILLS TOO...

share ko lang, nung thursday we played at a benefit concert, ung raise the roof. Gnamit ko is pocket pod lang na rekta sa house/p.a. Wala nang amp amp.. Try nyo bsta maganda ung p.a sa lugar. (soundcraft ung gamit nila sa venue 12m daw un board palang. Haha) depende na lang sa timpla..

chris, pano mo narinig yung sarili mo kung sa board ka naka rekta? may monitors kang matino? problema ko with this kind of setup is that most bars dont have decent monitors. tapos hindi mo rin alam kung pano ang bato ng mga tech sa overall level mo sa venue. wala lang. may way ba para maging okay tong sitwasyon? kasi kung meron, i'll bring my preamp na lang kung ganun :) thanks :D

ganon din kadalasan timpla ko. para kasi sakin, mas litaw or mas ok yun blend mo sa mix with more mids. but, it still depends kung pano rin ang timpla ng mix mo, kung warm or bright ba.

hi greg, :) medyo malupit ung monitors/p.a dun sa event kaya ok naman lumabas.. and kinausap ko muna ung tech dun sa venue bout my setup.. sabi nya sha na daw bahala. :) gumawa lang ako ng cable na may male xlr, tapos tinanggal ko ung mic cable dun ko kinabit. :) cguro kung tinatamad ka mag dala ng gamit sa maliit na lugar ok na ung set up na un (i.e magnet katipunan) senyasan mo na lang ung tech na lakasan ka pag mahina for you :) hope this helps!

metal has branched itself in many forms (by people), but to me the end result is important...it should sound good no matter what genre it is..

OD3 and METALCORE!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D plus lots of bass and mids tapos konting treble. para naiintindihan parin kahit coplex at mabilis ang riff work without loosing it's "heavy flavour".
