i just scored a matched quad of Mullard El84s to put in my AC30..

 

i've heard good things.. so i'm admitting that i probably bought these on impulse.. $80 for 4 ain't too much of a gamble anyway.. i see them on tubedepot for $80 EACH!

oh well, hope this doesnt blow up in my face (literally!!!) an AC30 takes eons to re-valve

theyre not the NOS Mullards are they? they usually are very expensive.
Still they rock.....I have Mullards in my preamp tubes and it made my sound warm.

you should thank the tube gods!!!! and offer some animal or something.....you're amp is gonna sound better than before....if it doesn't bias it.
