cool, thanks for the response...considering replacing some stock epi pickups some time and these seem like affordable upgrades.

ayus. You might wanna go for the GCH-1 if you want a bit more bite.  GCH-1s have open coils though.

installed the rails this afternoon. sounds good,   but i have a question, is it normal when you touch the rails it buzzes?.. i mean if you touch only the rails(poles) nothing else. when i do it on my neck pup, no buzz, but on the rails.

all i can say right now is ok na ok, very strong and sounds like a humbucker talaga mapa clean man o drive, and im pretty much satisfied, for what its worth, sulit talaga, pero still having some wiring problems, maybe because hindi ako magaling mag solder, hehe, gawa akong demo nito, naputol ko kasi strings ko kanina, nasobrahan sa test drive.

sir bong, di ko napansin kung meron SE-ADL.. hehe.. hindi kasi yun ang pinunta namin dun kanina, sorry.. pero i think halos lagi meron silang stocks niyan.. for price, check mo po sa multiply nila.. may price list sila dun under ng blog.

of course it will buzz when you touch the rails or poles without touching any ground point, like the strings, machine heads, or bridge/saddles. try shielding your cavities   question; what wires did you use as ground? did you shield the ends of the red and white wires?

ganun nga sir. no problem naman kasi its very hard to reach when playing w/o grounding, i just found it weird, hehe. the black wire and the bare wire for the ground then green is the hot, nka sheild naman yung red and white together., overall its great. hehe

as long as walang issue while you are actually playing, you shouldn't worry...  have fun!

yup, it does that with mean, still no problems with it

yes it buzzes when you touch the rails, its just the nature of this beast

my artec giovanni GCH2 pickups arrived today from guitarfuel, for my Ibanez RT150..i also got a response from SD and Dimarzio that the GG wiring(H-S-H) can only be possible with a super switch,

GG wiring is

1 - Neck humbucker
2 - Outside coil of neck humbucker and middle pup
3 - Outside coils of both humbuckers
4 - Inside coil of bridge humbucker and middle pup
5 - Bridge humbucker

so instead im doing the RT150 wiring + a neck bypass switch(gkg inspired)

w/push pull pot off

1- Neck Humbucker
2- Outside coil of neck humbucker and middle pup
3- Middle Pup
4- Inside coil of bridge humbucker and middle pup
5- Bridge Humbucker

w/push pull pot on (hot wires the neck pickup to any pickup in any position)

1- Neck Humbucker N/A
2- Outside coil of neck humbucker and middle pup N/A
3- Middle Pup + Neck Humbucker
4- Inside coil of bridge humbucker and middle pup + Neck Humbucker
5- Bridge Humbucker + Neck Humbucker
