Lincoln Brewster is a legend.. He's a legend.. i cant believe his tone.. he's just using "a" POD..
not to bash the pod but i think Brewster modded his pod x3 for his ear..
ive downloaded his present patches but im no-where-near his tone..
well i dont have his strat.. but man his so good.

As of the moment balik ako sa semi-analog set-up: J&H V2, VDL Sparkle Drive clone, MXR Phase 90 & TCE Nova Delay. Pero, pag na-benta ko yung Phase 90 & ND-1 bibili ako ng M13.

akala ko kasi parang effects rack ang POD! ...separate yung pedalboard  at ang POD namimix ba yun?....marami na kasi nakikita na gumagamit nyan...

if you checked the link you should've seen the difference between the POD XT & XT Live. Ano ibig mong sabihing nami-mix? If you meant na natwi-tweak yung setting yes you can sa PC/Laptop of dun mismo sa Pedalboard (if you're using XT Live).

Kung XT lang ang bibilhin mo, kailangan mo pang bumili ng floorboard, I think merong nagbe-benta ng ganun sa Classifieds right now. POD XT with floorboard.

I suggest you get the XT Live, neo_rockista08 is selling one dirt cheap (I know coz that used to be mine). Check it out sa Classifieds.

hi! good morning to all!
newbie here.

i'd like to get some info from experienced podxt live users on this forum.
i was able to get a 2nd hand podxt live from a friend.
 i've started  tweaking and modifying patches on the unit itself
what i want to do now is to modify patches from a computer and then download to the unit.

here's my questions.

1. just to verify, is the line 6 edit software the appropriate software for tweaking patches on the computer and then for transferring the patches to the podxt live ?  i read my manual and the line 6 website. i got confused since the manual says that i could get the guitarport software  for free (aside from the line 6 monkey), which i thought was software for downloading patches to the unit. upon further reading, the manual also mentioned the line 6 edit software, which is think now is the free software for the same purpose. the guitar port on the website sells for $29, as i remember.

2. i downloaded the line 6 edit software and tried to install it on my laptop. it requires the java runtime environment software. i have the latest java runtime environment installed, but the line 6 edit was not able to detect it. as a result, the line 6 edit cannot run. i tried several times using the latest version of the line 6 edit (3.0.2) and an earlier version (3.0), but still i can't run the line 6 edit software. i tried restarting my pc several times. any suggestions ? my laptop is running vista.

Ganyan din problema ko sir pero Win7 kasi OS ko. Ang alam ko kapag niinstall mo yung Line6 edit may iinstall din yang JRE. Pero katulad nung sa inyo, hindi rin madetect ng Line6 edit yung JRE sa OS ko kahit yung latest version na ang nakainstall
