I stand corrected! But for me you can get tone in anything basta that certain someone knows how to set it. Mapa MFX or analog pedals Eto nanaman yung mga ganitong usapan na boils down to preference. haha!

mga kapatid, im planing to buy a xtl live. Upon reading reviews on harm0ny central, i was bothered because there are so many bad reviews regarding this item. One that bothered me the most is that you cant put chorus and delays at the same time or you cant mix the synth with a phaser because they are grouped differently. Un po sbi pa nga dun parang pointless na kc hindi raw pwede mag sabay sabay ng mga effect because of this grouping. Tulong naman mga kapatid.Salamat.

May effect pa nga sa pod xt live sa delay na group na delay with modulation eh. so kung maglalagay ka pa ng modulation may dalawa ka nang modulation. I hope na gegets nyo yung sinasabi ko.

That is the only thing that sucks on PODs. One effect at a time, it really takes out the creativity of the guitar player. For example, you want a chorus + phaser effect. You can't do that since both chorus and phaser are in the MOD category and you can't use two of them at the same time. And as for delay, there's a different category for it. I would never rely on the POD's pedal drive sims, I use its amp sims natural drive so i have room for the STOMP category. Heck, I can save many patches. Ive owned one at hindi ko napuno yung patches... A simple guitarist like me who doesn't need too much effects its okay not a big deal.

May point yung taong nagcomment na yan sir. Siguro weakness nga yun ng POD xt. Pero para sa akin walang kwenta yung weakness ng POD sa strength niya!! Example imaginge nyo nalang meron kayong sangkatutak na amps na nasa likod ninyo tapos pipili nalang kayo ng amp na gagamitin ninyo. At hindi lang yan!! Pwede nyo pa lagyan ng effects sa harap o sa likod ng amp!! At eto pa!! Walang ibang MFX na makakapantay sa galing nito sa recording!!! IMHO lang po, mga weakness ng PODs are one-effect-at-a-time setting per patch and crappy pedal drive sims. Di ba accessible through their website ang XT/X3? Sana nagkaroon sila ng various options. For example gusto ko itong effects lang and that. Di ko naman din kasi nagagamit lahat ng effects. Lalo na din sa AMPs, jusko ang dami eh 4 lang gusto ko haha! Para yung remaining power ng processor nung XT/X3 eh maiexpress na lang sa quality ng sound nung AMP at EFFECTs. La lang just an idea. hehe. Waste kasi yung ibang amp and effects. OVERALL okay ang XT/X3, Im not closing any doors pero madami naman ding contender or better effects.

anyway, give yourself about 2 weeks of non stop tweaking, and di mo pa matatapos iexplore yung possibilities nyan. hahah!
about your D, i think naipit lang yung spring nya sa pedal. any reputable electrician or mechanic could open it for you (probably through the back panel) and check it for you.

im actually giving myself a week or two pagdating sa mga ibang multi-effects. may limit kasi yung tunog eh.. parang.. ewan?.. di ko mahabol yung tunog na kailangan ko...

but with this one.. GRABE ang tone! solidong totoo!.

with the D. hindi mo talaga siya mapapansin unless na kamay ang gamitin mo and very light ang hawak mo... with the others di ganun eh... masayado lng siguro ako tlagang OC pagdating sa gear...

How do I set the POD XT Live properly so that I can send my signal both to the PA and to a guitar amp (as a monitor through the effects-loop input)? So I just use it as a preamp modeler.

Here's somewhat a visual representation of my live setup using the POD XT Live:
 
Guitar     ---> POD XT Live ---> amp (through effects loop in / slave in / power in sa ibang amps).
                                      ---> PA.
 
In this case, what should I switch the input to: Line or Amp? And what do I assign to its Output Mode System?

Sir eto suggest kong setup nyo:

XT Live(LINE mode) ---> D.I. Box ---> P.A. ---> Main Speakers
                                                           ---> Monitor

Magandang setup yan sir para rinig nyo talaga kung ano tunog ninyo sa main. Request nalang kayo sa supplier.

Isa pang pwedeng setup na mas simple:

XT Live(LINE mode) ---> P.A. ---> Main Speakers
                           ---> keyboard amp
