it doesn't have to be an Atomic Amp. Tyaka portability naman ng POD ang pinaguusapan so tingen ko hindi picky ang POD
sa PA. Swertehan na lang sa PA system siguro haha! Decent keyboard okay na bro! Kung talagang pihikan ka e Atomic na nga lang. Pero like Brewster, na travelling guitarist POD lang gamit niya e very convenient. Minsan nga he asks the event to buy a POD na lang at download na lang niya patches niya through net. Sarap buhay nun haha.
Dati naasa ako sa drive pedals noon pero ngayon hindi na POD alone na lang. You'll see what I mean pagdating ng panahon.

Not in my book it aint. As you can see IMHO the technology that Line 6 use now is based on the X3's processing power. Its all about the X3 (sorry XT). Let me drive it to this.

Since the POD is almost a whole band arsenal the processing power is limited. The POD's PP is focused too much on the AMP SIMULATIONS rather than the EFFECTS esp on the DRIVES w/c the DRIVES are lacking so much.

Then there's the M series (M13/9) comes in. The PP focuses on the effects alone so it may give you a tonal advantage over the POD, but no amp sims. (They all counts digitally.)
Some people pair up the M series to other amp sims like Sansamp Liverpool.


So therefore putting the two together.

POD (awesome amp sims) + M13/9 (awesome effects) = pawnage tone

To pick between the two? I'd really go for the POD since its more "multi" than the M series.
POD... you all have it in a single black box. lol

Kahit M9 nakakalula na eh. Tsaka parang overkill na talaga!! Lalu sa buhatan!!! Pero balitaan nyo ako sir Ninmei kung nakascore kayo ha!! Ako parang solve na ako sa MarkV's Shred Head + POD X3 Live. Hehe

Nakakabano talaga yang XT @ the first gamit na totally walang alam kung paano i-tweak. Ganyan din ako nun, nakakainis tas I rush things na makakuha ng magandang tone agad. Pero hindi din time will eventually come talaga tsaka mo lang mare2alize na okay si poddy. Sa sobrang daming amp sims at pedals di mo alam kung ano gagamitin mo. haha!
Yun dun isa sa mga cons ng pods, madaming amp sims na nasasayang and effects too. Sana may "POD X3L Custom"
Okay ako dun haha.

Yeah sa buhat pa lang overkill na yung rig na yun pero kung may chance di ba why not choko not boknat. Tsaka sa isang forum na active din ako eh mas okay daw ang M series sa tube amps.

Eh 1st time ako makasama. Pagdating ko sa practice, fullband nga!! Nakabeatbox yung drummer, nakasaksak sa maliit na guitar amp yung bassist, yung keyboardist yung built-in speakers ng keys ang gamit, acoustic guitar, and lahat ng vocals walang mics kasi wala namang PA. Nagulat ako!! Dala ko nun yung POD ko tapos sinaksak ko sa Boston M6 amp sa aux-in(ganda ng tunog nito mga sir). Nagulat sila nung nakita nila yung dambuhala kong multiFX!! Feeling ko pumunta ako sa party na nakatodo formal attire ako tapos lahat ng tao nakacasual lang. Kaya minsan overkill na kahit pod lang eh. Hehehe!! Pero gusto ko magkaroon ng M9!!!
