What is the music scene in Davao like?

Hi,

I'm a pro drummer from Vancouver who has lived in the Phils before,but never made it to Davao.What is the "scene" there like?I'm seriously missing the Phils and want to get back there asap.I'm looking to join/form a working covers act that plays regularly,either blues,classic rock,or,reggae based.Is this a realistic possibility these days?I don't see myself moving to Cebu/Manila to base the group,but would consider playing there,once established.Any and all help/advice is appreciated.Thanks!
