oh and it has to be in a micro atx construction..or something that could fit in a barebone case..

reason: im planning on building an HTPC that i could plug to my LCDtv.. Media Tanks are cool..theyre compact and stylish..but i need something that can play almost all formats that are used by net users..

Anyway, all of the mATX boards above have HDMI ports, built-in ATi graphics, 7.1 sound, plus SPDIF for optical audio. The latter two have Firewire. While the last one has all-solid capacitors plus an extra DVI port.

I'm sure there are other brands out there, pero medyo alangan ako sa ASRock and ECS.

Edit: I'm sure these are available in PCHub and PCOptions. Not so sure about Express and Corner, since their selection tends to be smaller.

man, the brands and models that you gave me got me staring at the monitor like im looking at something pornographic 

my budget ranges from Php3000 to Php4500...and the best option i have right now is that MSI 785GTM-E45, next are the Gigabyte models...i just got a word from my officemate and he told me that i should follow this setup:

HTPC>HDMI>TV

then from the TV>Standard audio jack>5.1 channel dvd player(which will serve as the 5.1 sound system)

or HTPC audio out>5.1 channel dvd

^yes. its a Samsung 5.1 channel HT dvd player bundled with the TV. i figured instead of buying a separate set of speakers, why not utilize what i already have? hindi pa nga ako umaabot sa 30 na volume nun e
