regarding actuations, any decent EXIF reader application should do.. i think some photoediting softwares also has EXIF readers.. i currently use an EXIF reader sa PC sa bahay pero di ko maalala kung anong exact name nung application.. will find out mamya pag uwi ko..

EXIF pala yung data na nakastore sa image file mismo (JPG, RAW, CRW, etc) which tells kung anong lens gamit, anong aperture, shutterspeed, ISO, WB, focal length, etc. etc. kasama din dun yung actuation..

regarding naman sa pagbili ng camera.. IMHO mas maganda bumili ng camera na "beyond your league" para malaki laki ang space for your growth.. pero syempre dapat within your budget pa din.. hehe

Hmmm ganyan din ang hilig ko. Mejo mahirap yung ganyan.

Hope this helps.

No, don't. I'd recommend you get the D5000 or Canon 500D instead.

Hello, I just bought a DSLR a few hours ago. Do you guys recommend a UV filter? Saleslady said that this is for safety reason.

Gusto ko din bumili nyan, kaya lang hindi ko alam kung anong klase. Iba-ibang klase ba ang UV Filters?

I think he was talking about buying his Canon EOS 500D (thus the price) from the same one he bought his Nikon D3000.. akala ko rin yun yung presyo nung D3000.. nung binasa ko yung naunang page eh price pala ng 500D yung sinasabi nya..

IMO kailangan talaga ng filters bro. Protection to ng lente mo against scratches, dusts, etc. Kahit UV filter lang.Or you can try skylight filters. It will not do anything to your shots. Significant that is. :-)

Personally, kapag nakalabas ang camera ko, lens cap ALWAYS stays in the bag. Filters, ALWAYS fitted. That's me though.

Hope this helps. :-D

Meron bang UV filters na may effect sa shots? Like what if I want to take shots during the daytime? May specific UV Filter ba na para dun?

@ dudsrox > thanks sa tip sir

Another question, ok lang ba kung hindi tanggalin ang lens sa body lalo na't sa bahay ka lang kumukuha ng pix?

better let the lens stay on the body
saves time and hassle when you want to take pictures.
also prevents possible intrusion of dust when you attach your lens

@kurtcobainer,

Colored filters, from what I know are more useful when you're shooting black and white film. Pero meron din namang mga Polarizing filters... Makes pictures a bit clearer when shooting scenes with reflections..

For everyday shooting (color), I use skylight 1B. Parang light pink sya. Very very sutle pink. Neutralizes the blues... That's only as far as I know... Beginner lang din ako bro... :-D

i think lahat ng uv filters pare-pareho lang, dapat wala siya effect sa shots maliban sa as the name suggests, pag filter ng uv light. sabi ng iba pangit yung mumurahin na uv filter. i have tried sunpack and massa for my uv filters. so far ok naman.
