mga sir, isingit ko na rin tanong ko,as for the behringer, how about their BCD 2000 and 3000? are they no good in terms of durability, let's say 2years up and sound quality?

Thanks in advance

You have to consider that the cases are plastic so durability may be an issue if you use them for gigging. For normal home use, I think they will stand up to time. If Jobet's experience with his BCF2000 is any indication, it has worked without problems in his studio.

Re: Advice for buying new mixer- try the peavey pv series
« Reply #30 on: December 31, 2009, 10:02:06 AM »
basically mataas ang failure rate ng behringer mixers although mura talaga cya.  i now shifted to peavey pv series small format mixers.  it's priced slightly higher than the behringers but more durable with straightforward features.

check out this link: http://www.peavey-eu.com/product.php?flag=PH&lan=UK&lvl=5&key=206

cheers!

i've been using the xenyx 1222fx in most of my installs.  it's loaded for just a small format mixer and considering it's relatively cheap. but the peavey pv mixers are my favorites now.  for a direct substitution, try the peavey pv10 model. it's around 13thou only.

behringer xenyx 1222fx

peavey pv10

for the mdx1600 compressor limiter, i don't get results that i expect from a good compressor limiter but the price is hard to match.  i would also suggest the dbx 166xl for a better one.

behringer mdx1600
