If limited ang budget mo, oks na ang behringer. Pero kung may extra budget ka rin lang, go for other brands like mackie, soundcraft, peavey, yamaha etc. just my 2 cents :-)

just my few cents...

for beginners? WHAT IF PRO KANA? Lahat naman tayo nag umpisa as BEGINNER.... Ulitin ko heheh...WHAT IF PRO KA NA? and you plan to sell your beh mixer... baka mahirapan ka magbenta.... unless, super CUT THE PRICE...

Meron ako dating behringer na mixer, compressor limiter and equalizer....sira kaagad lahat.

A friend of mine used behringer mixers. He didn't like the EQ (as did I) and we found that it didn't provide enough headroom in the master outputs. Mind you, behri mixerx can be sufficient for the 'average' user, but for the pro, reliability issues often give it a bad rap.

Behringer is not all crap, btw. Their BCF2000 works quite well in Jobet's studio. Another piece of gear which just works is their ADA8000. All in all, it's a toss up... some of their gear are lousy, but there are gems if you look closely. Even their Xenyx preamps got good reviews from a music magazine if you google around.

Maganda and preamps ng Xenyx models for it's price, and maganda ang performance ng Truth Monitors nila, very flat for mixing, and cheap. Other than that, you get earwax from the infamous brand with that "Ear".

ok lang naman gamitan ng behringer na compressor, as long as alam mo gamitin yung compressor, marami kase hindi talaga naiintidihan yung totoong function ng compressor so hindi nama-maximize yung gamit.

tsaka pala iwas sa text spelling tol, bawal dito yan, may full keyboard naman tayo, might as well use it.

For me, Yamaha or Soundcraft.  I'm using a Yamaha MG 10/2, a small format console pero in terms of sound quality, pwede itapat sa ibang much expensive mixers. I'm planning now to get a Yamaha MG166cx para di na masyado  bitin sa mic inputs.

About sa compressor, Behringer makes good processors, so any mixer na gamitan mo ng Behringer processors, will help improve your set up, although if you will get the Yamaha MG166 ung 6 channels nya already have a one-knob compression.

ung xenyx na series ng behringer maganda..... ung UB series ang hindi maganda madaling uminit kaya sirain.... i have both UB series(1202/ sl2442) and xenyx(2222fx) kaya alam ko... problem sa behringer kahit new models ung built-in FX hindi maganda ..... maganda built in fx ng yamaha(mg 32 gamit ko)...  mg series kaso wala na... cx series na pinalit nila... phonic(am440d naman) is also good mixer, ok din built-in fx mura, matibay....  =? all brands have good knobs and faders... ok sa price... ung xenyx lang mas maraming features kaya good tlga for beginners... kaya i suggest kung beginner ka lang xenyx ka na... sayang naman kung mag soundcraft ka or allen n heath tpos masira mo lang dahil d ka marunong gumamit at mag alaga.... kahit ano pa brand nyan kung d ka naman marunong gumamit cgurado d rin tatagal tlga... at least xenyx pag nasira mo ok lang... hehehe!!

sa brand ka lang ba titingin?

how about the features? kung gagamitin mo as a live mixer, kailangan merong solo buttons at pre fader listen para sa cueing ng materials via heaphones. 4 to 6 aux sends for monitoring, mas maganda rin kung may switchable prefader/postfader yung 2 dun sa aux sends. yung mga small to medium behringer mixers karamihan wala yan.
