dito pa lang sa amin pugad na ng mga impostor. nung nagkaroon ng tugtugan sa fiesta namin, andaming naka itim na kamiseta ng slayer, pantera, dimmu borgir, cannibal corpse, etc. tapos nung tumugtog yung mga kaibigan ko ng death metal (believe me, magaling sila.), naingayan daw sila kaya lumayo. tapos nung may tumugtog ng kwishi at heyl, slamman sila.. what's the deal? posers.

ung iba kala mo kung sino na porke Metal ang pinapakinggan pero sa totoo d nila gus2 ung Music na un Napipilitan lang dahil iba dw ang datingan pag Metal ang pinapakinggan. Ung sa mga Posers na nagsusuot ng mga Metal shirt (ok lang nmn,kc may freedom sila isuot ang gus2 nila) D talaga Bagay na naka Corpse shirt ka o slayer tpos ang tugtog pogi rock e nag wawala, Sobrang nakakabadtrip talaga un.

Rakista pero makarinig lng ng MASAYA ng bamboo headbangan na.. saka oo yung mga nakikinig ng mga metal songs... napakaraming mga CD na binibili.. pinapakinggan lang.. pero wala lang.. masabi lng na "COOL" sila... hahaha

Oo tapos mga naka damit ng metal.. mga belt na kinakataas taas pa nila para lang makita.. di naman dapat.. tapos mga nakaporma ng BLACK.. Rakista daw sila tapos ang Rock sa kanila eh "EVANESENCE" oh kaya naman eh "SIMPLE PLAN" Hahahahaha.. nakakatawa na nakakagigil dahil di mo naman sila masabihan kasi pag ikaw pa ang nakihalo sa grupo nila... ikaw pa ang sasabihan ng "POSER"

i listen to melodic death, thrash, black, power, heavy, nwobhm, even some metalcore etc... nasasakyan ko lahat yan... pero sa metal siguro trip ko pa rin ung old school heavy metal,thrash,nwobhm... and then theres prog metal and power metal... +neo-classical...

pero dun sa mga metal ang tugtugan. i mean ung sobrang death na talaga. question ko lang is what's up with the growling? or whatever people call it. nalaman ko lang sa kabanda kong drummer na may iba -ibang type ng growl/sigaw etc...? wala na talaga maintindihan sa lyrics e.

for me it's ok lang naman na may growling pero in moderation naman. or kahit isang ganun na song sa album. parang iba na pag buong album puro nalang ganun... play as fast and as loud as you can in every track. parang wala nang dynamics yung song masyado.

Opinyon ko lang po Siguro po kc ganito ung style ng music namin :twisted Bagay talaga ang growl sa Deathmetal kc mas naiipadama nito ung essence ng Deathmetal although la ka maintindihan sa mga lyrics, Di kc bagay halimbawa sinabing Deathmetal tapos boses skidrow parang di po babagay, mas maganda pag parang patay talaga ung kumakanta o parang demon na nagsasalita

kaya DEATMETAL

and in terms nmn sa klse ng mga riffs ganun din po sa Deathmetal halos mabibilis lahat kc pag binagalan nila ung tempo ng mga kanta parang di na deathmetal, magiging goth o doom na,:)

Totoo po talga na marami na di nakakaapreciate sa Genre na to,:)

The other night, VH1 played the History of Metal.

According to the documentary, Heavy Metal sort of died because of the punk era. Led Zep and the others were getting experimental and losing it's core sound.

Judas Priest was credited for reviving the sound and more importantly invented the leather S&M and spike look (it was because Rob Halford was gay). Iron Maiden followed Judas. In the U.S., Van Halen was credited for "americanizing" heavy metal (David's antics and no brown M&M's). I belong to this old school and still listen to this type of metal.

On the same night, VH1 Behind the Music showed the story of Guns N Roses. Slash talks like a regular guy (not like Keith Richards). So, the booze didn't affect his speech one bit. If his hair was short and minus the jewelry, he could be mistaked for a bank executive with the way he speaks. His dialogue was candid and sincere. He kept praising other guitar players. I am his fan again.
