what i have in mind are

vox pathfinder
vox ac4tv
and laney cub 10


practice amp up to 13k budget
all small amps for room use
suggestion lang sir

Go for tube. Malaki naman budget mo. Sale ngayon sa JBMusic. CUB10 for only 9k+ na lang yata.

anyways gusto ko din yung cub 10 pero fan kase ako ng vox pero brandwise lang

i think the Vox AC4TV looks promising.. i usually opt for the pathfinder but since your budget can make it, i'd go for the the PF's brother..

tubes also seem easier to find and easily replaceable.. or i just haven't seen much on the Cub10's tubes..

aynway.. the Vox seem to be classier, that's just my personal opinion.. for aroung 4k more than the Cub10, i think it's a fair price..  :-)

just a quick question:  is there a big and discernible tonal difference between solid state and tube in the "practice amp" category? 

i'm more inclined to suggest you purchase a PF then the excess budget will be dedicated to pedals.  :-)
