Eto mga Sir M13 setup ko. This will be my final pedalboard update as I have a lot to learn on the M13. Im running the Tech 21 Character Pedals (Blonde and California) and the Suhr Riot pedal into the effects loop of the M13 after effects block 2. This allows me to have at least 2 blocks of effects like Compressors and Wah before my pre-amps (Tech 21) and have the Modulations, Delays and Reverbs Post Preamp. I am also using the EX-1 expression pedal. I do not use the traditional amp setup. I have the Tech 21 character pedals acting as my preamps and I go straight into a Tech 21 Power Engine 60 4X10 powered Cabinet to get a transparent sound out of my preamps.

Nice! Kind of like the setup I'm going for. Except I put the m13 in the amp fx loop and use it exclusively for mods, reverb and delay. my external dirt goes out front.

I'm sorry for the noob question, but what's the purpose of the m13 fx loop anyway?

Hey Shekoski! All effects block on the M13 are fully customizable so you can arrange them in any order you want. If you have external effects pedals that you use together with the M13, you can put them in the programmable effects loop. It can be PRE ALL which means before all other effects, POST ALL - after all other effects, or can also be squeezed in between effects block. As for my case, I patch it between effects block 2 and 3. This allows me to have a Compressor, Wah, Phaser (only modulation in put before preamp) before my Tech 21 Pedals and Suhr Riot and have my other modulations including Filters, Delays, reverbs, after my External Pedals.

wow! nice setup! I sold my tech21 cali a while ago.

I'll probably stick with a stand-alone setup m13+ex1 for the mean time. next gas attack tube amp.. lol

merong effects loop ang M13 bro.. not sure about M9 though if meron.
the good thing about the effects loop is you can change the routing ng loop for every scene

so you can have 12x4 different settings with some FX active in the loop, some auto-off, some in stereo, some in mono, and still... some iba ang routing

Nag update ng pod farm to 2.0... excited na ako baka kasunod na update ang m9/m13 ... it's since november pa last year since last mag-update.

...what pisses me off is this is my 2nd line 6 m13 unit. I have never had a decent properly working m13. can anyone explain this

i dont have any problem w/ my M9. its been responsible to my mods/delay/reverb in a last 6 months.
