Two weeks ago, I was about to buy a multi effects. I really planned to buy a me-25 or rp355 but that time they were out of stock so I decided to try zoom g2.1nu and vox tonelab st because I really need a multi that time. I went to jb music to try the g2.1nu and the guy there plug it in a 30 watts laney amp. When i tried the factory presets which they claim that Steve Vai himself made, the drive sounds were kinda thin and I tried to make a distortion patch using the Pv drive and I don't know whats wrong or maybe because of the amp?. I'm no professional when it comes effects since I'm a newbie but when I tried the vox tonelab st which is also at the same price range later that day, I immediately bought the vox tonelab because it's distortion is really warm sounding and its modulations sound like analog IMO though it has very limited effects compared to zoom but vox tonelab st's sound quality is a lot better than zoom .

i must say that for the zoom multis, you must put an analog OD or Dist in front of it.. i also dont like the drives on this multi
I have stated that there are more bad sounding suhrs then there are good ones

but i was surprised when i used a headphone on playing around with the preset patches of my g9. it sounded (acceptably) good..  :-)

it could have maybe sounded good if you plugged it at the amp's return jack or set the tone controls to 0db (flat) so it won't color the multis output.

i have no experience with it bro, nor any other digitech MFX.. pero it seems better than a Zoom G2.1u..  :-)

kaso.. kung nasa 10k yan brand new dito sa pinas, baka mas ok na score ang 2nd hand na Line6 POD XT live.. they go as low as 12k used..  :-)

ahhhh. actually what i'm looking for is a small MFX lng.
pang self practice ko lng at pangrecord.
ang alam ko maganda to dahil may usb at madali magtweak ng sounds.
may looper pa.pangpraktis talaga.hahaha!

then go for it bro.. if you have the cash for a brand new unit, that'd be great.. yun nga lang, mukhang pahirapan yata ang paghanap ng model na to from what i've been reading sa mga threads..

a phrase looper in an MFX is always handy, as well as the USB for recording.. tapos mukhang may mga balanced left and right outs pa yan para diretso na sa mixer..  :-)

yeah ung USB..
tska may drum pattern pa.very useful talaga for solo practing.
parang pinaghalong g2.1nu at me-25 na to.
plus, sabi nila, mas buhay daw ang tone ng digitech kesa sa boss.
im not sure though.
it's worth the try.

kaya lng hirap nga humanap nito...
wala na stock sa audiophile.
i guess i have to order it nlng.
tnx bro!

i dunno bout boss.. zoom G7 at Korg AX5G palang ang mga multi na nagkaroon ako before eh.. baka sa timpla lang din.. depende rin yan sa amp, syempre..  :-)

you're using a bandit 112? it's a good amp for what it's worth.. oks yun..
