i hope the will give in to pinoy fans...

but money is the name of the game. with people from other countries paying hundreds of dollars for a ticket, this would be hard to match.

you can't lower your price while you're still uber famous. else other promoters will fry you on your own oil and demand the same low price.

while the iron is hot, keep on striking. cuz pag laos ka na, hirap bumalik sa spotlight. and money inflow most often will never be the same.

I don't think money is the issue. Etong huling tour nila dumaan sila muna ng Indonesia bago sila nagconcert dito sa Australia. Pwede sila dumaan sa Pinas after Japan ang problema lang walang promoter na kumuha sa kanila diyan.

The ticket price is actually decent. AUD$110 or Php 4200 ang general admission. Ang mahal yung VIP tickets, which is around Php 15000 pero limited to 100 tickets lang.

Another indicator kung viable ba pag nagbenta sila ng concert tickets ay yung local album sales. Kaya kung Dream Theater fan kayo, illegal downloads do not help.

Dream theater has been playing on my playlist heavily lately.

Sana mag concert sila dito sa pinas kahit next year!

nakakahiya naman kung K-Pop nga na di naiintindihan yung lyrics
nagco-concert dito...sold out pa..

well, bihira na yung mga banda na nag-stage ng
major concert on their own..gone are the days in the 80's and 90's
wherein magagaling talaga ang mga banda for both underground
and commercial.

mas gusto ng tao ang KathNiel or Annebisyosa Concert..

im in it for the live experience. di ko kailangan makita yung mga tinatapakan at exact gauge ng strings ni Petrucci. yung kabuuan habol ko.

btw, has anyone been to Kia Theatre before? kamusta acoustics? and i hope the sound tech and the local system provider wouldnt butcher the sounds.
