wala pa bro. i'm lucky since out of stock yun DS bridge, nakahanap ako ng 2nd hand sa classifieds. mapapabili na sana ako both neck pup's. natry ko iswap yun neck para gamitin bridge. pwede siya pero mas pabor talaga ako sa pangbridge model ang gamitin mo since nakavoiced yun eq nya for gnun application. lalo na if mahilig ka sa highgain.

hot connection = black and red.

pareng gene, remove the pickguard to check if the bridge has a cavity ready to fit humbuckers. ganun yung strat ko. pwede sa humbuckers and the other way around. kung pwede, bili ka nalang nung darkstar, swak sa budget mo yan. sana nga lang may white?

tama lang para sakin. since mahogany yun ibby ko. mura lang yun DS. if di magustuhan pwede naman ibenta agad

or get a 2nd hand DS.

dc resistance: 16k
eq: low 8, mid 8, hi 7

bridge:
dc resistance: 16.5k
eq: low 8, mid 7, hi 8.5

jsut got myself a pair of Entwistle HDN bridge and Darkstar Neck.

HDN on the bridge and Darkstar on the neck? how'd they fare?

Sana maganda ang sustain nila hehe

I hope I made the right choice, I'm planning to have a PGM401-like coil splitting configs and a treble bleed mod. Will visit the luthier this weekend

it was quite an experiment. Darkstar Neck placed on the bridge, and the HDN Bridge placed on the neck. I like how it turned out. On the neck position due to the HDN designed as a medium output bridge pickup, the sound is warm and rounded but you can hear a little bit of aggressive highs on it, which I like on the neck position. The Darkstar Neck placed on the bridge sounds really awesome, it has that neck pickup sounding warmth and fullness pero andun yung bite na gusto kong marinig sa bridge. I had the pickups tapped to utilize the 5way switch on my instrument. ito yung config:

1 - Bridge
2 - Bridge outside coil
3 - Both
4 - Neck outside coil
5 - Neck

Masarap yung tunog nung nag-tap, hindi masyado na-sacrifice yung volume/clarity, para na rin akong naka strat hehe, bright and stinging!

overall I love my new sound with these pickups. Definitely a great buy especially for those looking for budget aftermarket pickups

XS62N can really sound good even with high gain pedal. IMO!!!

I have a Boss MT2 UltraGain Sustaniac Mod, kayang kaya ng bridge pickup ko. Try mo bro, it wont cost you an arm or leg if you try...

try mo lang lang sir. mura lang naman yung pickups eh. pag di mo nagusthan benta mo na lang agad. hehhehehe

Btw, I was at TMS raon last weekend. unfortunately, walang stock ng Darkstar Bridge. I planning to put it pa naman sa Ibby GSA60 ko. Right now my setup for my GSA60 is:

Neck = Artec Dual Rail
Mid = Stock SC
Bridge = Stock Humbucker

Gusto ko sana kabitan ng Darkstar sa bridge para mas makapal na tunog ng bridge. Pero dont get me wrong, Im very happy with the tone im getting from the stock humbucker pickup of the GSA pero kung may ikakapal pa, why not diba? heheheh

Darkstars are quite sharp pickups na may onting pagka-rounded ang tunog. Pero clear at buo, could be articulate too, reminds me of Paul Gilbert's early days
