just look at the specs.. olats na olats.. 

tube amp pero 6" lang speaker.. and it only has two tubes.. one 12AX7 and one 6V6.. i don't think it would be that great for the price.. plus there's only a volume control.. that's it..

it looks great but i doubt if it can emulate a good sounding tube amp considering its size and specs.. i dunno..

@ the price range of 12,000 -15,000php what do you recommend a tube amp?

tube amp pero 6" lang speaker.. and it only has two tubes.. one 12AX7 and one 6V6.. i don't think it would be that great for the price.. plus there's only a volume control.. that's it..

it looks great but i doubt if it can emulate a good sounding tube amp considering its size and specs.. i dunno..

I've tried it. It's not very loud, kahit naka-sagad na yung volume. It sounds VERY small and VERY boxy. I'd skip this and shell out a few more bucks for Vibro Champ XD, which has a modeller preamp but sounds WAY better.

perhaps due to the small speaker and enclosure.. true, a vibro champ would be better.. pero a Laney Cub10 is also just within the same price range.. so will it be British or Tweed sounds, depends on the buyer..

i thought cheap crate tube amps are good? they said.

i'd have to say valveking is good. my friend has a VK 100 watt head thru a behringer cab (he's in canada) with epi LP guitar.

derecho sa amp ang guitar, and he sounds killer.

VK combos are 1t the 20k range i think, 50 watts na yun, malakas na yun.

haven't tried the cub8 and 10 in person though, so i cant review about it.

dati i was debating about whether getting laney lc50ii, genz benz el diablo (sucker), genz benz black pearl (yummy) laney vc30, and peavey delta blues 210.

i loved the cleans of the peavey, so i got it. plus it was cheaper. now i wanna get the genz benz black pearl too LOL.

anyway how cheap is cheap for you? for big time people, the amps i mentioned are cheap, for others theyre expensive.

kung room practice sobrang lakas na ng 5 watt amp... akin kasi 5 watt pero di ko magamit pag may tao sa bahay...

ok ang tube amp sa metal and all high gain stuff kung sa kanya mo kukunin ang distortion mo.. pero kung sa pedal ka parin magrerely for those high gain needs, useless ang pag gamit ng tube amp, imo..

kaya hanggang ngayon naka solid state ako, kasi sa pedals ako kumukuha ng distortion ko.. masyadong mahal ang iinvest ko sa tube amp para makakuha ng magandang specs lalo na for high gain.. not just that, i'll be forced to stick with that voicing.. whereas kung pedals ang gamit ko, i can have a bit of different voicings for a fraction of the price..

so better think it out if it will suit your needs as well as your budget..

well a good clean tone from a tube amp + pedal distortion can really be good sounding....

but then i see myself rarely using distortions now.. im satisfied with clean tones, a sweet clean tone..
and practice legatos with clean tones.. kahit pinch harmonics dun ko pinapraktis.. so i dont rely sa high gain to do thise things..para pag may distortion na, yakang yaka...

Not really... Per my experience, iba pa din siya kahit sa pedals ka kukuha ng distortion... I did a side by side comparison of an effects unit with an all-tube vs. a hybrid tube/ss amp and iba tumunog.. Of course factor din kung ano yung speakers, design of the amp, etc, pero sa tingin ko iba pa din... Tube amps are worth getting even if you will use pedals.

Mas buo at buhay ang tunog..

Just my opinion ha..

Also, if you're looking for amps, make suer you look into the speaker. It has a BIG effect din. I prefer Celestion V30s. There are other better ones tulad ng mga nasa epictone.com pero okay na sa kin Vintage 30s...

Don't neglect the speakers din.
