pick one guitar from here

choose one or two pedals from here

then an amp
solidstate amp kapag tinatamad, tube amp naman pag may practice ang banda, recording or gig. dati pag may gig ay sinisipag ako, i'd bring my bcb6/bcb60 pero isang pedal lang ang talagang nakakabit, most likely my keeley modded boss ds-1. na paranoid na ako simula nung tumugtog kami dati at biglang nagloko pedal board ko, di ko ma troubleshoot agad.

When World War III begins, get as many boss pedals as you can and build your fallout shelter out of them - you may not survive but they will :-D

Before:  (good old days when i was more active and younger)
Peavey TerminatorPredator / Epiphone EM -> Boss MetalZone -> Boss Flanger -> DOD Distortion/Delay -> Yamaha Phase Shifter -> Marshall MG

Just a year ago:
Freedom LP / Batman SG -> CH-100 -> DS-100 -> Rakkarak (Software Emulation via Jack Daemon) -> Generic Amp

Now:
Fat Strat -> PocketPod -> Headphones/Generic Amp
Fat Strat -> Rakkarak -> Headphones/Generic Amp

:) been always a minimalist, pabawas ng pabawas habang tumatanda, always looking for ways to minimize the hardware but always aiming for the good tone..planning to upgrade from fat strat to superstrat and i think i'll be fine.. yang si sikheadzraf perfectionist yan e.. hehehe..

Korg Tuner to
Tonebone Classic to
MXR/CAE Boost to
TC Electronic Chorus/flanger to
Boss Delay/Reverb.

Although I'm thinking of getting another delay (with tap tempo)

Guitar > Hikari comp > Morley Lynch wah > Subdecay Blackstar > (Barber Burn Unit - coming soon) > Dimetronics Mang Temi (Timmy clone) > Morley vol pedal > EHX DMM > Korg PitchBlack > BBE Sonic Stomp > Fender tube amp (hence all the dirt pedals hehe)

Gusto ko nga sana bawasan, but practically every pedal provides a 'service' I need. I'm currently disposing of the Morley vol pedal, pero kahit yun nagdadalawang-isip ako.

Tip: The PitchBlack isn't true bypass in the most honest sense of the word. While it does let signal through without power, it still has an internal buffer running when bypassed with power in the chain. It was wreaking havoc on my Blackstar, sobrang lakas ng hiss, so I put the Korg near the end of the chain and sent the Blackstar back to Brian Marshall for a PCB upgrade to current specs which he claims will lessen the noise (props to Subdecay Studios!).

I'll probably make some sort of in/out box with a tuner out in the future so both guitar and amp cables go in one place while the tuner is isolated from the chain.

my current setup:

guitar - Korg DT10 - Dunlop Hendrix wah - <either Boss DS-1 or SD-1> - <either EHX English Muff'n or Damage Control Demonizer> - amp

if im playing the tele, DS1 ang ginagamit ko as booster. if im using humbucker guitars, ill use the SD-1.

yung English Muff at Demonizer, depende sa mood ko gamitin pag gigs. though the past few weeks laging EHX yung gamit ko, pinagpapahinga ko yung Demonizer. :-)

Guitar > an overdrive pedal (either a Zendrive, Timmy, or the H.B.E. Big D) > tremolo > tuner > reverb > delay > amp
