i don't know if this is the right thread for this, is it wrong to stack THREE "dirt" pedals?
currently i use a CC drive for my "clean" sound then boosted by a ds-1 as my main dirt. I tried adding a TS7 (in ts9 mode with drive knob on 8 o'clock position) just to give it some boost for solos.

para hindi OT:
guitar >> korg pitchblack >> Dano CC Drive >> Boss DS-1 (modded) >> Ibanez TS-7 >> Boston DD100 >> Boston Noise Gate >> amp

if it doesn't produce too much noise and you can still hear the guitar notes clearly, its fine.

To be frank, wala naman talagang wrong routing kasi it all goes back to what sound you want. Pero merong maling timpla =) you can use 3 dirts in chain pero ang active mo any given time is only 2 so ok lang... or timpla mo for instance is 3 sabay-sabay pero your using the 3rd date like an eq or the first drive as a preamp pwede pa rin... or gusto mo lang ng massive feedback and noise ok lang din... masakit sa tainga pero kung yun ang kailangan mo for your original sound and you can play it ok pa rin.

find your tone lang, your ears will tell you if it's not right.

I always keep my routing complicated. It's wah > dirt > modulation > time-based effects. Wish I could simplify further.  :-P

Look closely, the sides of the Zendrive and Kanji are not perfectly 90 degrees straight, unlike the BOSS enclosure. Because the connection between the two pedals is rigid, you put stress on the jacks each time you step on the pedals. Dahil hindi sila pantay. There's no relief for movements. If you have an all BOSS pedals, I guess it's fine since they all have fairly right angle enclosures. Worse, if your pedalboard has a soft surface where the pedals move when stepped on. You can look up this type if you really want to use a coupler, as it provides some relief by transferring some of the movements to the coupler itself:

Actually overkill LOL (hindi ba nagstatic you'll need a noise gate) or just find that distortion tone you want and stick with just 1 pedal... hindi pa mahirap dalhin sa gig!

check this pic... 3 pre-amps, they all add distortions of their own layer upon layer.

Incomplete pa ang pedalboard ko pero eto balak ko. Wala pang flanger at delay sa ngayon. Walang budget.

Guitar > OD > Chorus > Flanger > Delay > Amp

Ask ko lang, alin mas ok unahin? Chorus>Flanger or Flanger>Chorus? I have no idea, since both are modulation effects. Pati, san pala sinisingit ang loop station?

TIA.
bump ko lang tong tanong ko

bump ko lang tong tanong ko

try putting the flanger after the dirt lalo kung ginagamit mo siya ng may dirt na kasabay para mas noticeable yung effect niya..
imo, kahit alin pwedeng mauna, either flanger or chorus..  :-)

about the loop station, sa dulo siya nilalagay para capture lahat ng tunog na gusto mo irecord..  :-)
