My current board's routing is as follows:
Guitar >> HBE ComPressor Retro >> Ernie Ball VP Jr. >> Teese RMC3 wah >> looper input (3 true-bypass switchable loops, two A/B switches)
From looper:
LOOP 1:
(Loop 1 Send) >> Y-cable 1 >> Lovepedal COT 50 >> Lovepedal Eternity >> (A of A/B Switch 1)
>> Y-cable 2 >> Hermida Zendrive >> (A of A/B Switch 2)
>> EMMA ReezaFRATzitz >> (B of A/B Switch 2)
From output of A/B Switch 2 >> (B of A/B switch 1)
From output of A/B Switch 1 >> ZVex Box of Rock >> (Loop 1 Return)
LOOP 2:
(Loop 2 Send) >> Red Witch Moon Phaser DLX >> Empress Tremolo >> (Loop 2 Return)
LOOP 3:
(Loop 3 Send) >> Fulltone Choralflange >> TC Electronic Nova Reverb >> (Loop 3 Return)
From output of looper:
(Looper output) >> TC Electronic Nova Delay >> Peterson Strobostomp >> AMP/MIXER
Drive Route Summary:
Route 1: Lovepedal COT 50 >> Lovepedal Eternity >> ZVex Box of Rock
Route 2: Hermida Zendrive >> ZVex Box of Rock
Route 3: EMMA ReezaFRATzitz >> ZVex Box of Rock
My LOOP 1 chain is an alternative way of how to create a three-route signal path with one input and one output if an A/B/C switch isn't available. Two A/B switches and two Y-cables/signal splitters are required for this. A/B Switch 1 chooses between Route 1 and either Route 2 or Route 3, while A/B Switch 2 chooses which route (either Route 2 or Route 3) will be sent to the "B" input of A/B Switch 1. Dual-output (not stereo) pedals such as the BOSS TU-2 or the MXR Kerry King 10-band EQ can be used instead of Y-cables.
Experiment and have fun with multi-route switching!
