hey guys, i think this idea had already been discussed before but let me revive it.
wouldnt it be a great idea if a pool of our experienced and able photographers here in philmu would take photos of the gear we have? from guitars, bass, drums, amps, peds... shempre priority yung mga vintage, classics at RARE, complete with specs and a litle story about that piece of gear. but it would also be good thing to include kahit yung mga simple lang din basta hindi yung mga commonly makikita like a GT6 or a Taiwan DS1, things you can easily search the internet for and youd find a photo. You know what i mean. For example, madaming may Fender Strat dito sa forum.. pagsasamasamahin sila with a footnote who owns it and some specs about it and yung mga exceptional lang ang iffeature.
i know this has been done before by other publishers but this would be unique because its the gear WE have.
tapos pag napagsama-sama na yung mga photo, those who have worked hard in it can compile it. I know it takes a lot of resources to print this so kung feasible, get pre-orders? And if hindi kaya tlga, online registration? I dunno. The photographers who will participate can use them in their portfolio.
I really wouldnt know the business aspects of it but i know some if not most will be interested in this. Im wondering nga why local publishers arent publishing a MUSIC magazine that actually features music gear. They can get advertisers like yupangco and JB. For sure, sapul ung target market nila. I, for one, will subscribe basta ba madaming guitar porn!
