preference mo yan. regardless of the head you're using, pag gusto mo ng mejo plastic na sound, tune it to the lowest note, etc. (http://home.earthlink.net/~prof.sound/id6.html)...

self-explanatory naman sir.
yunug single ply, same as 1-ply. isang ply lang ng plastic ang nagme-make up sa drumhead.
sa double play naman, 2 plies.

mga single ply na heads as far as i know, mga ambassador ng remo. mga emperors and pinstripes naman from remo, ay 2 plies na. sa ibang brands, medyo limited and knowledge ko.

hope nakatulong.

@deaths

or chek mo rin yung site ng REMO sir. :{D

:) better than stock heads of course.  :-D

sakin pag steel kasi given may warmth na yun, so kung mag ambassador ka, baka mas mahirapan ka control yung overtones niya, i suggest you get single ply heads with power dots sa center to give you more focus. sa reso head, tama po yung ambassador. IMO.

ako kasi medyo particular ako sa brand (not because of the name but the quality they give) pagdating sa mga major items sa drums like snare at cymbals. kasi sila yung most na dinadala sa gig.
although di ko rin naman kaya yung mga high end series at brands like tama at pearl. i usually choose the cheaper yet reliable brands na lang.

pero kung mala abe cunningham ka naman magtono eh why not! minsan talent own brand yan.

medyo ot na tayo.hehehhe

tanong lang: ok ba ang pinstripe sa toms? both batter at reso? makukuha ba yung ganitong tunog? wait at 0.06 for the toms im talking about. :{D
or ano kayang possible heads nito?

thanks!
